Item values do not adapt to modified statistics
JADE currently lacks a notion of "base items".

Items with altered statistics (e.g. better DV or damage, special abilities, etc.) currently do not show a price variance. Basically JADE currently does not know what the base item type offers statistics wise which makes price alteration calculations kind of impossible. Duuuh...

I had noticed it being strange that a pair of steel boots [+4, +4] cost the same as a pair of steel boots [+0, -1]

Perhaps there's a different way of tracking the item quality/statistics? Such as, all items of a type having base stats, and a separate 'quality' stats that are invisibly added together behind the scenes? Could allow for damaging/repairing/improving items through non-magical methods..
