Shyssiryxius the lawful thief

While on a groove of questioning whether perceived features are features or bugs, and also reading the bug report regarding accidental shoplifting, I am curious if the LAWFUL water dragon claiming something you dropped (deliberately or otherwise) is the preferred behaviour. I can easily see that it might be intended since the water dragon wouldn't necessarily know which things YOU dropped... then again, she's 'all-seeing' enough that she instantly knows when you picked something up.

You left some well-deserved tribute for the water dragon and now you want to STEAL it from her? How mean.

Surely a dragon, even a lawful one, should be protective of its hoard. You dropped something? Part of the hoard now.

You trying to think about the dragon like she's a human. Dragons are known to be greedy, no matter lawful they're or not.

If I were a water dragon I would think this way.
