Paralization resistance

"As of version 1.2.0 gelatinous cube corpses can provide resistance to paralysis when eaten"

I played hundreds of hours since 1.2.0 is out and i assume that possibility to generate that corpse is so damn low that is ridicolous...
and even if you manage to generate GC corpse you still have low chance for geting paralysis resistance from it.

How about 33% chance to get that resisance from eating uncursed/bleseed ghul corpse ?

ghul corpses are more common and eating one could have more life treating penalties like:
vomiting leading to very hungry! status,
+ severe sickness,
+ poisoning
+ paralyzation

So to survive eating ghul corpse PC would must have significant amount of HP, poisoning resistance and amulet of free action ?
IMHO that would be more fair than hunting extremely rare GC corpse or dealing with pools.

I don't like this. Your suggestion would make paralyzation resistance the easiest thing to get. You could scum for necromancers in the wilderness and get a ton of ghul corpses. And after finding some basic herbs, who cares about sickness and poisoning, or paralyzation on an empty field?

Paralyzation is dangerous and there should not be an easy way to get it intrinsically. (Yes, there's always pools, but it is a gamble.) Also it puts a quite nice tradeoff situation to the later game if you don't happen to have any other means of paralyzation resistance and need to use an amulet of free action instead of that cool amulet you would have.
