Item weight not removed on drop
Item weight not removed on drop

Seems like when you drop item it's weight still burdens you, so you quickly become overburdened.

Also, the weight is increased again when picking up a dropped item.

Even saving the game, quitting, and then reloading it does not update the weight number.

One other note: my PC is now Overburdened!, but can still move about freely. So maybe the weight is being disregarded entirely in this early version? Or maybe it is being kept correct internally, and it is only the displayed weight and status that are in error?

I made a test character who pick up everything he comes across and never drop anything, and he was still able to move when overburdened. So no, the displayed burden is indeed the correct value.

Confirmed, this is the most disruptive bug I have found in the 0.1.0 (which is not bad at all for a 0.1.0 alpha by the way!)

Yes it is the most irritating thing right now, other important thing is that this bug happends when item goes into inventory, by that i mean pick up an item equip it and unequip it and so on the weight does not fall only rises

The Creator
Fell for the usual optimization problem... too much caching with some calculation error. Fixed for JADE 0.1.1. Please send your real name to creator(at)ancientdomainsofmystery.com for the credits.
