In the current version, a purple "Corrupted!" pop up message will appear every few turns (six in my case right now) when in an area with background corruption. It's really is annoying. I think that, only in such instance, it should instead appear in the message log, in purple as to get the attention of the player.

I think it would be great to keep the pop up message in most, if not all, other cases of momentary corruption (IE corrupting attack, corruption when attacking with certain weapons, traps, everything related to potions, chaos tract, C- crowning, using an orb, you get the idea...).

i would also keep the pop up when carrying an object that corrupts by the mere fact of having it in the inventory (essence of chaos items, "corruption" prefix...), but again, it's just my opinion.
