Always kick doors from an angle. Then blocks never fall on your head.
Success. Thanks.
Would anyone be willing to send me a copy of Adombot that works with either the DOS (preferrably) or the windows version? I've been wanting to test a few things without it being too tedious. Thanks.
I got the scorched spear with a Paladin years ago. I think it was a Troll, but it could have been something else. It was a couple/few versions ago as well. Bottom line is I've rolled thousands...
I can also confirm getting the scorched spear with a Paladin. I had thought it was a Troll or an orc, but it could have been a drakeling.
That is my understanding as well. I usually get a gelee royal or two every game. I tend to kick the crap out of hives (which I heard increases the chance of a drop). Anyway.
What Ash was supposed to say was "Klaatu Borada Nikto." Of course he coughed during the delivery. What a great movie. Give me some sugar baby!
The problem I have when I find great things like that early is that I get careless and not infrequently die from something stupid because I wasn't paying attention.
I have also found the scorched spear there, as well as the shirt of the saints and possible the leather armor. I also once had a character start with the scorched spear as his initial weapon. I...
If you drop "everything" the game frequently crashes, at least for me. However, if you drop "all items" (I think that's what the options is called.... Don't have the game in front of me.) it has...
That is probably my most frequently used method of precrowning. It seems like it happens every few games or so in that dungeon. Well maybe less. Precrowning can be pretty tedious and I usually...
That is the case with the Windows version for me on crappy Vista. Alt-Q. I've almost shift Q'd more than once.
The easiest way to get to neutral at level 50 is to give the dwarven priest a couple million in gold. It works immediately and reliably. If the alter is lawful this can get you to LN. Beyond that...
I pretty much agree with what others have said. If I read correctly you still have to kill a ghul for the quest? I would do that before I crossed the animated forest, or else he's going to give you...
I'm no expert, but I've had it happen on accident of sorts. If you take fluff balls into the water cave they will multiply ridiculously. The Gremlins that are produced will drown but not before...
I've done the banshee thing in the forest a few times. One game I had found 5 scrolls of danger. I put two in a safe place, and then cursed and read the others. There was a noticeable change in...
I was thinking a month real time.... Enough time to basically do whatever you want with a character, using whatever unsavory methods one likes, short of outright cheating.
I think something like Grey's restrictions would be the only way to make this sort of thing work. It would be theoretically fun, though, if you gave people a month, no rules... other than no...
I don't believe that you can charm emperor liches. And, besides, while someone's wasting their time on coward, the necro or some other class or character could be laying some serious damage.
...
I do this all the time when I find artifacts. In reality it's not really a big deal though as the slots give you essentially unlimited gold.
Wouldn't undead pets cause problems for mindcrafters in pvp? I never play mindcrafters, but it seems that they would have a problem with a high level necro walking around with some emperor liches. ...
I can share your frustration with getting across. A little bit of patience and a teleport or two goes along way. You could always bring the Banshee with you. That tends to make it pretty easy and...
I've maybe found 6 or 7 wands of wishing. At least 4 or 5 of them came from the tower, one was a random relatively high level drop, and one was in the casino.
It definitely gave me time to drop stuff. The character lived to fight another day before dying in some similarly stupid way.
It's not quite the same as what you guys are talking about, but I recently discovered a new burden status (at least new to me): I had a character who dragon doubled a pile of gold up to something...
