It was in the dungeon to the southeast of of the village. It looks like that same troll always shows up on the floor with the carpenter, so I guess I was just descending too fast.

I am almost certain that I am going to die, but I figured I should ask. If nothing else, I know I did some damage to him already and I might be able to kill him before he kills me.
