The most implausible thing is that none of them was the Black Tome.

I guess because it's an easy spell to learn Darkness could be considered "light reading".
New one! Can't work out how to activate it.
16 smooth stone spheres are arranged in a complex and irrational pattern.
I was wracked by feverish fits after gaining +Sick from a pool, taking me from 20/40 (I must have healed up to above half HP to cause the fit) to -14/40.
That came as a surprise. It was definitely...
I am in. Let's make artifacts a gift from the RNG gods that you have to fight for.
I found this one.
I kicked it and it turned into a wmopc. Umm... at least she's not partly a statue any more?

But adding more content for him means it has to be in song.
Well done on the artifact lore. But I think it's too good to hide behind greater id scrolls I will rarely find.

Keethrax is a real end of level boss! He even has his own artifact!
So... was it a cooshoo or a hyena?
Found a new one!
You stumble upon a statue. It depicts a large man with a goatee and a stern expression. Wherever you move his eyes seem to follow. His clothing is very ordinary save for a fuzzy...

Then, oh yeah, getting out of the room. I tried the...
I play a lot of mist elves and while they have their challenges I wouldn't call them the hardest class. They have Concentration, so you have spellcasting abilities if you find v the books.

You're talking to me here right? If you discount Wizards and Necromancers then we're left with Assassins and sometimes Merchants, and I've been keeping the Assassin survival rate down pretty low...
:) Of course!
I have been thinking of taking him with me to the HMV. Or trying to.
He'd be a big help to not levelling too much in the SMC...
