Unbelievable: Level 1 char finds 2 handed eternium sword in SMC!

Well, Made it to the High Mountain Village without a scratch on me. Then met a STone Giant Lord who wasn't very impressed with my eternium sword.

BUt I noticed my two handed weapon skill was still at basic - even though I finished the PC, DD and the UD with the sword.
Does having a better weapon mean your skill moves slowly?

Well.
Your weapon skills increase when u hit.
If you take less hit to kill smbdy, you get less marks, therefore lss increases.

first, what kind of thing are you playing?
Second, remember ratling lesser vaults. Brrrrrr
Third, remember that 2 handed weapons create a downside to DV. I personnally don't like shield much, but they're useful.

I once found an eternium 2HS of penetration--either in the SMC or darkforge, I forget which.

That wasn't a winning character either.

That must be pretty kickass against undead. No more problems with Griff, I imagine. Otherwise it's no better than a normal E2H, and as it can be seen an E2H is no guarantee.

Well, you learn something new every day. Just because you have a kickass weapon doesn't mean you can take powerful things early on. (A kickass armor is another story, although in this case you would have needed a strong enough weapon to kill him anyways.)
