well, I found the drowning a bit overkill; Frustrated or not, I don't think anyone would go in the water with low hp.
Myself I tend to handle any water like 'high king water', at least. Except for the creek in the Drakalor Chain overview map, after I noticed that the damage is the same as from water in a cave - and you regenerate pretty fast walking in the overview map
