web + phase dagger is your friend against king kitty

Yeah it would be nice if it gave you something along the lines of "Something is blocking your way!" or "Something seems to be in your way!" I just had great PV from my black dragon scale mail and the resist acid is great, never took it off really.

I'd keep it as it is. And DSM's give immunity, not resistance. :-)

You'll probably find you're overestimating the utility of the phase dagger.
Try the same again, but replace the phase 'phase dagger' with 'eternium spear'.
I reckon you'll find you're wasting a wish and more in most of your games.

(There are very few monsters with high enough PV that it justifies using a phase dagger over your average mithril weapon, never mind eternium!)
