Jesus, can't believe I missed this...

Initial comments: World generation takes a good 5 minutes on my quad core - can't imagine how bad it must be on lower machines. The "wandering @" demo is very entertaining to watch though - a nice idea.

Exploring the world is fun, though there doesn't seem to be any individual named locations yet. Towns are smaller than expected (maybe because of the slow running of the big cities we saw in the previous video) but they look nice, and some of the random comments townsfolk make are very funny.

I've been in a couple of dungeons - can't help but be reminded of ADOM at every corner. The whole "feel" is very ADOMy. A few items and monsters are new though, and all this "steel" stuff makes it feel a bit different.

Urk, crashed when trying to give an item to an acid drake. Guess I shouldn't fool around so much on an alpha release :P

Was it a light green or a dark green acid drake grey? and was it an item the acid drake could eat? I am certain TB would like to know to track down the bug.
I myself got this really nifty quest when i tried to give a copper piece to a light green acid drake.
