    ...and now trees. Not just a logo full of trees, the whole
    page is trees. I don't blame left-handers, dog haters, or
    even Grey. I blame the general human mentality of trying
    to dumb everything in the world down to the stupidest
    common denominator. They will probably double their
    user base now...

    Yeah, todays google page made me go a little wtf too. Looks like some modern art museum or something. I'd prefer a blank page too.

    E: and its not just the logo, the whole page is filled with that 'building'

    I recommend switching that thing off. Otherwise it will most likely stick forever
    So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)

    That's the problem. I just did a google search for 'how to turn
    off this stupid background shit' to find out that dozens of people
    have already searched for that exact phrase. Everyone is pissed
    that google's retards tell us 'to disable the image, just click the
    link in the lower left corner of your screen', but clicking that
    stupid link only lets you add MORE stupid shit. I suppose
    that is my fault for starting to use them as my homepage again.

    left side thing can help

    just create blank picture of perfect white and set this as your "picture".

    Either this or have another page marked as home and google as option in toolbar. Luckily they do not color search pages yet.
