    Default How to get L+?

I've never been crowned lawful. How do you get to L+? Even the law amulet doesn't seem to get you that high...

Do lawful quests, sacrifice corrupting artifacts (Black Torc, Moon Sickle for an example) and wear a blessed amulet of law.

Whipping yourself, giving food to beggars, healing a pet (if you don't damage them of course).

    Etc.

    Which lawful quests?
    I suck at getting pets.
Amulet doesn't seem to help past lawful.
    Too much TO for whipping.
How much lawfulness do Torc and Sickle give?

    1) Puppy quest, Unicorn quest, Carpenter quest, Thrundarr's quests
    2) Scrolls of familiar summoning
    3) It may not seem like it but it does
    4) It's not a matter of Toughness its your PV.. take off your armor or use a whip of slaughtering if you can find one.
    5) Not sure but neither of those artifacts are good for anything other than ratling fodder or in the case of the sickle potions of raw chaos... so unless you are going for an ultra ending i'd sac them.

Other ways of getting to L+:
Killing evil mobs i.e. chaos mobs, molochs, undead, steel golems and other constructs
    Giving money to priest

I've always W5'd with a blessed amulet of law on to get to L+,
usually on D:8 or something, hoping a random monster will pop
by and drop me a Ring of Delicious Sandwiches.

    Okay, I'll get amulet.
Unfortunatly, the lesser vault did not give precrown.
And I am a trollish healer... Base TO is 30. Meaning 5 PV

Amulet of order loses it's power as a PC levels up. I don't recall the exact numbers but a blessed amulet of order ceases to work at around level 40. Uncursed and cursed are less effective and stop working far earlier than this.

For whipping, the better the whip (whips of slaughtering anyone?) and the lower the PV (look in all shops and DF armor room for anything with negative PV), the more likely it will work.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. If I knew scripture like you, I'd prolly be an athiest too.. -gut

Amulets don't stop working at L. Keep in mind that there is a long road from getting just L to achieving L+.
ADOM Guides - whatever you wanted to know about playing a certain class, but have been afraid to ask!

Check out my youtube channel to see my ADOM videos, including a completed playthrough of the game. I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

If you suspect you'll do some heavy whipping in the future, save any rings of doom too. They lower your PV by 5 iirc. So 2x and it's -10 already. :-)

Normal whips are useless unless your pv is under 0 iirc.
Black torc and moon sickle give TONS of lawfulness, one of my crowned champions of balance fell due to offering one.
Haven't won with : Druid, Priest, Elementalist, Weaponsmith, Ranger, Merchants, farmers, Necromancer,Thief
Currently trying : Entertaining girlfriend. Very, Very, VERY hard.

    Just a silly online game
