I'm sorry to bring back a thread that exploits bugs (even is they are DOS bugs) but I am intrigued by it, and this could open doors that have been closed for some time. Does anyone have a complete list of monster ID's that they could post here?
When in darkness, you can always see the light (unless you're in ADOM)

Most successful combos for me: Grey elf wizards, trollish healers, dark elf beast-fighters, Gnomey monks, and any race barbarians.

Tbh I don't get it why people are intrigued about these kind of serious bug exploits. Exploiting a game feature, like sickness training is fine for me, but this is overdoing it. Shame on you!

I don't really want to post the list since it comes from code-diving (don't know how else you would get it). Still, I would recommend you check your messages.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. If I knew scripture like you, I'd prolly be an athiest too.. -gut

Ok, I was just fascinated that this sort of thing was possible. I'll have to check up this myself. Maybe....................................

A lot of these bugs cause many unwanted side effects. For example, the PC naming bug only works safely by changing to Human. If it is used for anything past that, your game will crash on exit. Not to mention the loss of a deity once you become Raceless or the risk of the game crashing simply by using a command which checks the race variable.

Well, I don't agree with you. You are not exploiting to complete the game, this is just for fun. It's funny dual-wielding Rofl's axes with a level 1 bard with a Ki-rin pet. But most of these exploits crash the game within 5 minutes. And you wouldn't claim a victory with an exploited char anyway.

I've never scummed too much in a game. I just use herbs in a normal game. So I'm not a scummy guy. Still, I find this interesting and funny.

Just to add to the list of funs: 9,c,d,f,k,n,T,x,i,j. I'd say T is the most fun, especially as an ally.

I have completed a list (not by code diving) of the montars 0-9, a-z, soem other characters, and their shift equivalents. I have not been able to produce anything from a special character (alt-whatever). maybe it's just dos-box, but I would like to complete my list somehow.................

I don't know why DOS ADOM doesn't like alt-code characters but I think it might be because it actually generates Unicode rather than ASCII. If you can generate the ASCII latin symbols, you can access some of the other monsters.

The gender of the monster (in other words the "female") part of the name is determined by the original monster. If you are naming goodwives to generate monsters, you will get a lot of females.
