Merchants starting with insane stuff.

Just rolled a GE merchant, (first time playing merchant, did so because i was bored.) and potion specialist, then checked inventory and I have a PoCC. Anything extraordinary happen to you? :O

Rolled about 5 wizards with PoCC.
Sad, their never were able to save it to the right point. If trap dont kill the wizard it would destroy the potion =)

I think the most unusual starting item is the scorched spear, which can be drawn on extraordinarily rare circumstances by, IIRC, drakeling paladins.

[edit]One of my favourite starters is a mindcrafter with a scroll of charging and a wand of teleport. If you're feeling particularly gutsy, you can then do a level 1 darkforge raid.

I can also confirm getting the scorched spear with a Paladin. I had thought it was a Troll or an orc, but it could have been a drakeling.

You know that wish is a uber-costly spell? like, -10 in one characteristic and 1500PP?

Best thing to do with it is sell right away. It's worth a ton. Other than that, it's basically a wasted spellbook, actually. You need very high Le to learn, and basically need to be level 50 to cast.

yeah, just like youve said, it was quite usseless, sold it to waldenbrook for huge amounts of gold.
