Ok, i've managed to find a real tidbit of time. Wondered if any of you had heard about the recent problems lolicon art was facing, and the moral issues it is raising. And, in the case you did, about your opinion on it.

here are two articles on this, made for the defense of "little white butterflies".

Personally I think, if anything, lolicon art (or, perhaps, put more clear-cut: lolicon hentai) should help pedophiles satisfy their urges in a legal manner, and reduce temptation to further the distribution of actual child pornography or, god forbid, commit actual child abuse. The thing about sexual urges - as paraphilic, illegal and sick they are - is that they don't just go away. Even if you are one of the pedophiles who manage to keep their urges locked away, they never go away, and suppression tends to make urges even stronger. I like my sexual urges just fine and I have trouble imagining what an agony must be like to, morally, never be able to satisfy them. So if there's a pedophile around bravely resisting their desires, the least we as a society can do is not deny them the little satisfaction they can receive from lolicon art or pornography.

Hey, if that feels right and natural to you, that's your prerogative. I might think that you're a bit of a bastard. But really, all you have to worry about are people with a conflicting moral perspective... which sadly might be the majority of your society.

Now, from here you have a few options. You could either try to create your own school, religion and/or political party in order to spread and indoctrinate the morality that you follow. Be warned though, this could take many years before pedophilia or child pornography can be freely practiced; it could quite possibly take more years than your life span has to offer.

Otherwise, you could do your sordid dealings in secret. With enough care, this will greatly lower the risk of incarceration. The easiest way is to jack off daily to your loli hentai. This way your repressed feelings of lust can be vented out discreetly without alerting any authorities or jeopardizing your social standing.

I love the made-up idea that one can "vent" paedophilic tendencies with cartoons. Where is the scientific evidence behind this? Personally I rather think that regularly viewing pornography that encourages sex with minors will make you more likely to think about it more often and tempt you into acting upon your desires. Anyone with paedophilic urges should seek professional psychiatric help rather than letting their mind indulge in sick fantasies.

There is none, of course. I'm completely ignorant of the factors involved, as most are, which is why I say seeing a professional is a much better option for people with a problem than this sort of... self-medication.

@grey : Talking about professionnal help... there''s a clinic in america, of which i forgot the name, which specialises in pedophiles. They engulf millions. And.... on an interview by a journalist, nearly EVERY patient of the clinic (some had been there for years) said that if they got outside, there was a "strong" chance that they'll act on their urges. I'm not saying that proffessionals are not useful, just that they havent proved their usefulness.
About thinking about it more often... just count the number of child you cross in the streets while going to work, wandering, or whatever. That's about the number of times a pedophile thinks about it... a day. seeing a lolicon manga once a day is pretty meaningless in that respect...

@silfir : the agony is more, in my opinion, when you realise that you're on the verge of stopping resisting...

@fasizi : i'm not for the free practicing of child pornography. I would be for the free practicing of pedophilia if it could be done as a normal relationship, but the society distortts that notion in nothingness.
I also don't "possess" loli hentai. Thankfully, it's legal in France. Therefore i tend to use websites which provide it. That, however, implicates something : i'm followed. On internet, there tends to be virtually NO security, since everything you do is archived in servers.
About acting on the desires, i'd... rather have a knife in my back. seriously, i know about the consequences it can have on a child and i just don't want to ruin a life that way.
