now can play very trivial JADE games with fighters only (mountain dwarf, hill dwarf or human). Before something is released I need to fix the highscore code, the save routines and at least integrate a keymap definition, but we are getting closer to JADE 0.1.0 (the first official release).

This made my day. Especially since i'm about to sleep.

He said to expect something in the next couple of days. Not sure whether to believe that or not, but it's enheartening to see he's working on JADE and enjoying it.

I have fixed a release date and I wil do everything to hold it. It's too far away to hold your breath but near enough to hope for something. No more details though ;-)

New update, looks like we won't have to wait much longer. Who knows, maybe I'll end up playing JADE on my birthday. Wouldn't be a bad birthday gift at all.

The pessimist in me wants to tell you that you're being optimistic, but his birthday is in three-four days, so maybe he plans on releasing it then.

It definitely is to me, I've been away from these forums for a long time, I slept two hours last night, am at a new workplace and bam! all of a sudden JADE is about to be released

I also talk a lot right now. It's alright doing it on Skype but writing so much on these slow forums makes me feel like such a spammer.
