OK, here is my report:
8000: I check inventory, spells, skills, and all that stuff.
8002: I boldly head down to the depths of I:9.
8010: I cross a river by using several frost bolts (I think I could have used less, but well)
to 8073: Waited some turns to regenerate PP.
8081: Found a dark elven wizard surrounded by several tarantulas. Burned them.
8090: Poisoned by a tarantula. Found myself at 30 HP or so, I think. This was the hardest part of my turn, although I never was in significant risk of death.
to 8184: I waited until the poison diluted and I had full PP (not HP).
to 8348: Killed some unremarkable monsters.
8352: Hit experience level 11. Perhaps biased by the recency effect, I put some dice on Swimming. Ma went up to 14. (14? WTF? Oh, well, that's why I would never choose a dwarf for an elementalist in a private game, I guess).
8466: Found downstairs, but didn't descend yet.
8505: I'm at full health, and the level has been fully explored. So I descend to I:10.
8590: Found downstairs, but didn't descend yet.
to 8800: Killed unremarkable monsters.
8800: Found brass bracers. Equipped them. They are not cursed, but I have no idea of what they do.
8850: Found a fire vortex (I didn't notice any "distant wind" messages, strange). Destroyed it with an ice bolt.
9083: The level had been explored, so down to I:11.
to 9296: Killed unremarkable enemies, found a wand.
9320: Found downstairs. I am hungry. I eat a ration, I find out it's the last that we have (I had eaten two more before, I didn't find many edible corpses). So I think it would be better to drop some stuff to remove the Burdened status. I drop some quite useless stuff near the downstairs, so it will be easy to find if the next player wants to use it.
9390: Clay statue dropped an iron ration, so got it and dropped some even more useless stuff. So now we have a ration and are not burdened.
9450: I sense imminent danger, but the feeling passes. Phew.
9510: Ate a large ration from the floor.
9680: There doesn't seem to be much more to do at this level.
9720: I head down to I:12 with the items I had left behind (in case someone wants them). "You suddenly feel threatened". I leave the items by the stairs.
9770: I cross another river with frost bolts. Three of the levels had rivers. Curious.
9860: A room full of master swordsmen! How cool is that? I kill some of them and retreat when my PP are low.
to 10000: I waited until PP were fully regenerated.
So, a summary of the current status:
- We are at I:12 near the stairs. It's a river level, with a "threat" room full of master swordsmen. Some of them have been killed already, but there are probably more of them on the loose.
- Perhaps food is a potential problem to consider in the future, we only have one ration right now.
- I basically didn't spend any resources except for spell castings, and I found a couple of scrolls, three or four potions, a couple of wands and a pair of bracers. No idea of what most of the items do, though. An ID scroll would be good.
