We do have SFTP access. Just not publicly. Jaakkos is concerned about security of the server, so only a small subset of people are given the login details. It's also to stop idiots screwing things up

Huh? I mean, just set each users SFTP root directory to .../savedg and voila - what could possibly go wrong? [Except for people using that access for uploading non-adom stuff. Ok, that might be a problem. And I bet there are other problems I did not think of.]

Yay, you finally got it. Melee Weapon: ok, missile weapon: none needed, DV 52, PV 4, Some food but not too much, Speed 101... ... ... Ice vortex is faster than us (107 speed), so... I just wait, hoping for the best.

20390 Homunculus left a corpse (CAREFUL! It makes you sleep.) Still, I cooked it, sleep better than starving.
20484 Only locked doors left. Kicked one. Explosion. Sling and 4of6 rocks gone. Down to 4HP, and seeing a troll.
20489 He shot a rock. Godthanks it missed.

21135 Most of the level is explored, theres one locked room at the east end, and one room I closed off because I feared the willowisp that is in there. Dont know how strong those beasts are, and dont feel like trying it out.
21147 Eat large jackal corpse.
21155 Descend to I18.
21323 Foudn iron ration. And a room of green slimes, which I do not want to clear.
21406 FOund 5 bones. Damn, earlier i killed a big dog. Could have made him our companion :/

EDIT: saw Grey's post. Quit char, deleted save didn't check anything or flg. Waiting for further instructions. didnt' take a single game turn, counter was still @ 22021.

Why did you descend to I18? Lack of food? Also, I agree its bad form to descend for apparently no reason right as your turn ends.

EDIT: Ok, now i really see the controversy since it was after your turns were over.

Heh, yeah, there's a difference between "bad form" and "completely against any of the rules". Even if the chaos gate was open this would be grounds for disqualification.

Epythic, I'd really like to hear some justification. If you have a good reason fair enough. I find it hard to believe though that you didn't notice the turn count was over - you were w5'ing specifically for the end of your turns, and you saved immediately after descending.
