I suddenly have visions of an illiterate PC, a doppleganger,
a dark sage, and an alarm trap.

"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."
Forget dark sages - I'd use it against the AKW. Imagine 10 of his corpses...

spellbook while drunk. No, it's not a coincidence that
I'm posting this on Dec. 31 : )

Hopefully this is not already somewhere in the preceding 48 pages.
If a wall blocks a clear shot to a monster using normal targetting ("your missile thuds into an obstacle"), you may still be able to create your own clear shot. Try aiming behind the monster. I think small variations to the left/right may sometimes also help.
You hit Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, and severely wound him.
The greater balor summons some help!
The ratling duelist disarms you. You drop your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12]. It flies to the west.
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, picks up the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].

I've been playing a string of barbarians who have decided to doom themselves for the entire game, and have noticed a surprising effect of the dooming intrinsic: rooms full of traps ("You shudder") seem abnormally common. In an average game, I'd estimate that from start to finish, I probably see 2-3 of these rooms. In these doomed games, I have had 3-5 of these rooms before Dwarftown pretty consistently over about 10 PCs. I haven't noticed any other types of rooms being especially (un)common, but it may be that certain features have a luck check associated with them.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.
Door traps as well, it seems to me.
