That is correct - and being cursed only gives you a coinflip on getting a wish from a wand of wishing.

OK, I know the last one was a dud, but I'll see if I
can get this one to stick : )
A ring of invis gives +1 PV.
If this is already known, and I just missed the boat,
please, don't tell me.
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."
Can't remember if I've mentioned this one before, but
each shopkeeper will haggle 11 times, no more.

When selling wands in shops while you have Mana Battery, the charges aren't subtracted until after the wand is sold, so you still get full price.
Of course, this makes the big assumption that you are carrying non-trivial amounts of sell-worthy wands when you get the corruption, and for that matter, the big assumption that you still care about money at that point. But hey, this is the *minor* things thread.
gut: Curious, I did not know Rings of Invis gave 1 PV.
Invisibility itself gives a small bonus to both melee and missile to hit.

I thought I discovered that : (

Perhaps this is mentioned somewhere, but I missed it...apparently,

Ultras: GE Farmer, Hurthling Thief, Orc Weaponsmith
Wins: HE Priest, GE Wizard, Human Necromancer, Gnome Elementalist, HE barbarian, Gnome Mindcrafter, Hurthling Paladin, Troll Healer
gut: I imagine a lot of stuff was 'discovered' by multiple different people. In this case I just broke down all the To Hit bonuses one day :P
(Being blind is a mere -4 to missile tohit :O)
That's hilarious : )
Actually, so is not being able to throw a rock in the dark.
To be honest, I've found dark to be optimum for rock
throwing in real life.

If a monster kills a doppleganger and the doppleganger leaves a corpse, that corpse is of the type of the monster that killed it.
