Constructs can definitely be blinded. I figured
that out when I was creating a level for the
'divine finger' challenge of soirana's. I created
a greater water elemental named 'gut' and
gave Soirana's weakling PC exactly one potion
of blindness to help. Confusion wouldn't work
though, and I didn't try para or stun.
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."
What happens if you try to drink the Potion of Literacy w/ poison hands?
This wouldn't exactly come up often, just curious if anyone knows.

So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
(after 15 I stopped counting...)
Actually, if I wanted to storage the sulphuric potion it is because I have a blessed dark sage corpse storaged and I want +1 artifact for the ratling.
Throwing shields gives skill marks in shield skill (when hit) and shield skill gives bonus when throwing shields (with quick testing it looks like +2 damage/level, didn't check bonus to hit but I think you get some bonus in that as well).
Scrolls of item creation can generate artifacts.
A wielded rock will receive hit/dam bonuses based on thrown rocks skill (but will not give any weapon marks). This is of most practical use to hurthlings, as a rock will perform better in melee than their starting weapons.
It's possible to hit one target twice with a single missile: if you are a level 50 archer and shoot through enemy or enemies, the target in last square where you can reach may get hit twice.
Also it's possible to shoot through walls (at least 1 square wide walls) with level 50 archer if there's a monster inside the wall (ghost or earth elemental for example).
This is a question rather than an update, just wanted to clarify this now that Andy Williams opened the guidebook thread.
A couple of games ago, when I chose [k]nowledge as the reward of the druid's quest (had herbalism already), i got the "you feel as if transgressing some law" message. Is doing this quest a chaotic act? :E
