My advice for you is to keep it simple. If you have never won the game (and you want to win it) there is no need to wander around Dwarven Halls nor to convert altars. Try to minimize the chance of a stupid death happening.

Regarding the Banshee, you have to be a male for a wedding ring to work. But I think it's less risky to kill her using missiles and keeping the distance, as someone has said before.

    Good luck!

Since you asked "wwyd", this is what I would do:

    1. I'd get rid of lightweight & regen corruption. (+6 str and +6 to? gimme!)
    2. I'd replace ammy slot with Ankh. Also stash the book of teleport somewhere safe.
    3. I'd go to the infinite dungeon to generate a blink dog and eat it.
    4. I'd get crowned, like Jelly suggested.
    5. Then I would think about that wish. Personally I don't like red dragon scale mail, actually. With 2 sources of -fire and the intrinsic, you are nearly immune to fire already. So all you get is a little extra PV, basically. But if you want PV, wishing for magical writing sets and writing scrolls of protection is better, especially for a monk.
It would be especially tragic to wish for DSM and then get crowned with the robes of resistance, so get crowned first in any case.
As a troll, wishing for a AKW is painfully tempting, but it's up to you. Personally I would wish for potions of longevity instead, but that's because I'm slightly mad.
About wishing for an Amulet of Life Saving: keep in mind that this item is easily destroyed and uses up a good item slot. Also, there are many causes of death that it doesn't prevent (most notably old age).
    6. Speaking about scrolls of protection (or defense), I'd use the ones in inventory.
    7. I'd go to the ToHK and lure an ogre magus or (more likely) ice vortex. A word of warning on the ice vortex method. It is likely to explode the instant you descend the stairs. To prevent that, cast darkness on the down stairs first. (I noticed you do have the spell.)
I know there are tricks to bypass the guardian, but I'm just not fond of them personally. And the ring of the high kings is not a bad item in any case.
    8. Then, I'd head over to the tower. One easy method you have available is to zap wyrm with blessed wand of par, then kill it easily in melee. Like Jelly said, wand of paralysis is an awesome weapon.
Alternatively you could wish for ammo of dragon slaying. A nice feature is that if you delay the wish until the moment you want to shoot, there is no risk of losing them to item destruction.

TLDR: I would do the tower first and not worry about the banshee until you are ready to dive down to the casino.

You steal a scroll labelled HITME. The orc hits you.

Oh, well forgot when was last time we had advice thread:

    My two cents:

    A) between torc, gauntlets and rings you got fire resistance covered with or without inner intrinsic.
    B) Torc is worth only and only if you have fate smile on. Well, luckily that is on a way to crowning which is good thing to aim.
    C) on troll teleport book likely is not gonna cut. Fetch wand [bless that scroll of magic map and read in apropiate level] and install tp control.
Having emergency escape way increases survival dramatically.
    D) which should be top priority actually. Get rid of strained status. no reason to have shitload of penalties going on.
    E) Between water orb, healing pots, scroll of familiar sumon [later tad risky i guess] and paralyzation wand you got wyrm covered.
Few cursed invis pots would not hurt, but i do not recall simple foolproof method to curse stuff [without unneeded risk that is].
Biggest problem is total HP - 200 is slight risky than you can be blasted for like 100 and Wyrm has higher speed [likely].
Being troll you can't really levelup much more i guess, so i recommend improving To - that is either removing -6To from corruption or eating loads of morgia.
    F) long term biggest problem is aging. Sucks to die to first ghost lord you met.
personally i would wish for alchemy, but that involves some time investment and risk. potions of longevity is good option too.

    Now as banshee goes.
    A) ring works if wielded for males and yes nograin is wedding. By work i mean bitch is still hostile, just veil is not damaging [unless my memmory fails, been over three years i did this as i play female characters]. Problem is getting in dark, stepping arround corner might be deadly as you are safe only as long as banshee sees ring. Best option is wield ring, stand still and shoot her.
    B) wax might just be very low in CoC. Wax is mostly safe option [excluding some melting accidents].
    C) always can luck into deafness pot [or make via Alchemy]
D)Outrunning her is i guess rather dangerous method - get teleport source and tp control if attempting it.
    E) Absolutely dumb method - generate exploding rune doors with wand of trap creation. Requires extensive knowledge and is very not recommended.
So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)

I take my time, speedruns aren't my style, and I don't care about score, so the effects of Chaos essence were cumbersome. I left the shield in the dwarven mystic's room and never picked it up again. I consider the SoRS to be the evil counterpart of Protector

You can't wish for multiple GoGS. You'll be told one shall be enough, just like with AoLS or PoGAs.

    Sorry for being nitpicky

I only recommend the SoRS for the Tower--it's honestly pretty much the perfect item for it, and you shouldn't add more than 1 or 2 corruptions. Afterward, I'd just ditch it.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

    > I áfound áthe tension room of Chaos Warlords right
next áto áthe ástairs. I killed a few and kept the
    rest as an experience stash...

darkness works for those, and they drop insane eternium items.
darkness has a doorway bug that allows monsters to see in dark if
THEY are in the doorway, but not if you are
. My advice is to get
the free xp and eternium items now, melt the moloch armor next, then
smith an eternium armor to something like [+11, +19]. Hopefully
they will also drop an eternium long sword of penetration that you
    can smith as well

    > I've ábeen áplaying this game a long time and have
yet to get a win, so such a promising character is
    making me extremely nervous

To decrease nerves, I suggest dipping some of your items in potions
of raw chaos the next time you are in dwarven halls. It can polymorph
some pretty nice items if done properly. Logs and ratling pamphlets
    work best.

    Update:

Darkforge and Tower of Eternal Flames cleared, thanks for the tips on assaulting the ToEF without a ring of Ice.
    Banshee vanquished, yay wedding ring
Still haven't obtained the ring of the high kings... considering exploiting the eternal guardian for experience, and later obtaining the RoHK to appease his replacement and open to shortcut to the surface. Any suggestions for appropriate experience level and tactics to deal with a hostile eternal guardian?
Still haven't been crowned... turns out 70K wasn't enough... I've sac'd another 10K since, and am still only at very close status, plan to get rich quick in the casino, and luckily have a co-aligned alter a couple levels above the wall of flames.
I've obtained teleport control, as well as another non-guaranteed scroll of chaos resistance, which brings my current count to 9, and one still laying in the HMV
My wish is still intact, considering using it for an AKW or even saving it until I can deal with greater molochs and wishing for an emperor moloch for experience. Suggestions?

darkness works for those, and they drop insane eternium items.

To decrease nerves, I suggest dipping some of your items in potions
of raw chaos the next time you are in dwarven halls. It can polymorph
some pretty nice items if done properly. Logs and ratling pamphlets
    work best.

I already took out all the Chaos Warlords. Used darkness against them from the beginning, dont recall getting a lot of eternium items from clearing them out, but I may have gotten some and sold them. I have a pretty good supply of eternium in my stash, in addition to the moloch armor, (which is currently sitting on the up staircase in DH1)

Good to know about dipping items into potions of raw chaos in DH to make new items. What's the damage if they explode instead of changing?
also, does moonsickle turn any potion into a potion of raw chaos when dipped?

Around 150-200 HP. Explosions also corrupt a lot. Three or four corruptions is typical from my experience.

I never play Chaos roulette like this, because of the risks involved. Low-level characters (which is when turning e.g. brass bracers into bracers of resistance would be a big asset) will most likely die. gut however makes a good point on that logs and ratling pamphlets are good for dipping. Those are never randomly generated, and thus will never explode. Items which can't be generated under the current danger level also won't explode.

Yes, hence you can't bless it with holy water. Any other artifacts which contain the essence of Chaos and corruption (such as the aforementioned SoRS) also have this effect.

From what i recall on my old calculations the only think worth dipping into raw chaos was metal boots in circa DL3 area. odds at shot for 7LB not that bad.
So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)
