i do not get it. Why not use scroll danger in Terinyo and feed fool with booze potions?

In my case I didn't want to hike back to Terinyo. After splurging on 3 precrownings (I found some early herbs and got greedy) I felt guilty if I didn't go all the way down and to the CoC in one dive once I got the fire orb.

For reference, I wished for potions of youth, got 3, blessed them, and lost 15, 12, and 19 years each time, for an average of about 15 years, leaving me with only 4 years of unnatural aging, no problem.
