    - Your left hand has become unusually large (Dx:-3 St:+5 To:+2 Ap:-4): Think Hellboy. Grants the ability to wield two-handed weapons in just the left hand, freeing up the right hand for other weapons or shields. Note that it's the left hand, and thus experiences left-hand penalties, and that bearing a two-handed weapon in the right hand still blocks the left hand from being used for something else. Useful when fighting bare-handed.
There are no left-handed penalties at present, except for a few very special cases (Rolf's set). Personally, I think this sort of corruption would be way too good. It would probably be worthwhile to scum corruption traps to get this, even if you picked up a couple bad ones along the way. The wall walking corruptions some people are suggesting are probably similarly worth scumming for.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

    - Your eyes have merged to form one larger eye (Pe:+4 Ap:-2 Ch:-2): You become a cyclops (in terms of eyes), which gives you improved perception, but only if not wearing any headwear.
    - You are blinded (Pe:+10 Dx:+2 Ch:+2 Ap:-3): Although blind, you are still able to see within one space in each direction, due to tactile perception and sound-based perception. Corruption grants your other senses dramatic boosts, enabling greater perception for anything that isn't about seeing. Ignores invisibility, darkness, etc.
    - Your eyes glow with malevolence (Ch:-10 Ap:-10): Your eyes become a light source (completely nullifying invisibility if you have it), and all hostile monsters go berserk at random times. Can be countered by anything that blinds.
    - Your eyes are attuned to the astral plane (Pe:+3): Grants the ability to see invisible. One of the rare corruptions that are pretty much entirely positive.
No comments on the effects, but it doesn't sound horrible enough. How about wording it as:

    * Your eyes start emitting an unhealthy green light.
    * Your eyes are bleeding.
    * Yellow puss starts dripping from your eyes.
    * Your eyes turn black.

    etc
You steal a scroll labelled HITME. The orc hits you.

I think it would make sense to make the corruptions also a bit 'weighted' when there are more than the maximum one can endure. One could think of roughly 3 categories of corruptions: slight deformations or special effects, quite serious ones and absolutely insane ones. To keep some ChAoTiCnEsS one could have a chance system where for every x-th corruptions the chances per category changes where the chance for the worst corruptions increase the more they pile up.

Stat-changes, acid spit etc.. would be first category. Second category would be pretty bad stuff like poison hands, mana battery, stiff muscles, apish stuff and the light-weight or teleportitis etc.. ones. Third category should imo consist of really serious corruptions affecting not just your body but also your mind: losing control of your character now and then (like losing options over tactics and instead being in berserk mode ALWAYS).
I think a corruption that doubles your weapon skills training would be pretty neat. Drawback could be something like the mentioned forced berserk mode.

Some of the original corruptions are no more horrible than the ones I mentioned.

    "You have become very light"
"Your close attunement to corrupted astral space allows teleportation"
"You have become extremely thin and nimble"

What about Strength of Atlas? (I agree that both break the immersion, though)

I remember that I once had an idea that there should be lawful blessings: like corruptions, but given by lawful gods and quest givers, or SoCR while not corrupted.

"Your blood surges in the presence of cHaOs"

Increased HP regeneration, the rate at which depends on the background corruption: the greater the ambient corruption, the faster the HP regeneration.

"Your mouth collapses into a writhing mass of prehensile tentacles"

    -15 AP, +6 Dex

"You thrive on the flesh of Order"

+X speed for Y turns for every lawful corpse consumed

"Your face dissolves into a reflective surface"
Humanoid non-construction non-undead enemies have a chance of becoming confused when adjacent to you - chance increases with character XL

"You sprout a magnificent pair of large bat wings"
+10 speed, +5 EV, ability to transverse water with no penalty (still penalized if under water, such as Dragon cave

*You sprout a babbling mouth on your forehead that rants and raves (-6 Charisma, -6 Appearance, 1 in 5,000 chance per turn to produce an effect similar to a wand of wonder(b/u/c?)
*You sprout three miniature leathery/ feathery wings (-3 Appearance, 1/2 less Damage from pit traps/ falling down to bottom of The Rift, 1/2 More damage from drowning (wings bog you down) )
*A strange pulse of energy periodically rearranges nearby liquids (1 / 100(+?) chance per turn to transmute potions in inventory to another type, adjacent water squares nearby have a 1/10 chance to flip between water and ice)
*The voice of ChAoS whispers disturbing secrets into your thoughts(+2 Mana, +4 Learning, -6 Willpower)
*You sprout a graceful feline's tail (+4 Dexterity, -4 Appearance, perhaps the Cat Lord considers you one of his subjects?)
*Your entire frame vibrates from a corruption of your natural mana flow (+2 Mana, - 4 Willpower, Must burn off energy or suffer (Having Max PP causes you to take damage each turn, the higher your mana vs. toughness, the more damage), Spells cast at Max PP do an extra 10(+)% damage/+ duration of effect )
*Your bones turn to bronze (+2 PV, -2 DV, -2 Dex)
*You feel paranoid as the shadows around you seem to take on a life of their own (-6 Charisma, +4 Perception)
*Your flesh seeks to fuse with the armor you are wearing...(Armor worn on torso(?) becomes in effect Auto-Locking, +2 Toughness, +2 Dv (Ease of movement), Takes damage if armor is removed somehow- like peeling off skin)

Yeah true - just a sucker for horror speaking here.

As people commented before, it does mean that certain beneficial corruptions with special purpose will be harder to get (light / nimble). This makes the quickling tree harder to get to at all and the rift a little harder as well. Maybe certain new corruptions should have a similar effect, especially for the tree?

Here are some corruptions that give you very nice abilities, but have the big drawback of making you unable to socialize in towns:

Your mouth has turned into a round, jawless lamprey mouth adapted to suck blood.
+Mute, melee attacks have a chance to do 2d6 extra damage and, if they go through, you gain that amount in HP (vampiric bite).

    You now breathe fire.
Gives you a fire attack ability (similar to acid spit, but with fire damage); but attempting to chat with someone will breathe fire at them and damage them as well.

Your tongue is now long and forked like that of a snake.
+Mute (chatting results in hissing), all snakes you find are nonhostile and will become your companions if you chat with them.
