    Short sword "Stabby" (+1000, 1000d1000+1000) [+1000, +1000] (+1000 speed) {St+99, Le+99, Wi+99, Dx+99, To+99, Ch+99, Ap+99, Ma+99, Pe+99} 30s

    It slays everything.
    Using it gives infinite wishes.
    Gives all immunities and resistances.
    Sometimes makes you die instantly.

    Code:
    Sord of typoes (+10, 2d75) [+12, +15]  (+4 speed)  10s

    It returns when thrown.

    It grants bad luck.

    It grants immunity to all elements.

    It subverts your will.

    "subverts your will" means that on a die roll the game process any command you input as an adjacent key.

    That sounds more like permanently drunk than will-subverting.

    Also, why aren't dwarven monks stronger when drunk?

    The wooden mask "Noh Mask" (4s) [+10,+75]
    It causes your wounds to regenerate.
    It grants resistance to death rays, paralysis, and petrify.
    It is a permanently cursed item.
    The wearer is permanently confused.

    [edit]
    Amulet of soul saving (3s) {+5 Ma}
    While wearing it, the PC cannot be turned into a vile spirit upon death.
    Vile spirits are instantly dispelled, leaving all of their items behind, upon chatting.

    I'd love a Tiny Crossbow as an artifact.

    Glossy Hand Crossbow "Stinger" (25s) (+6, +0)
    It creates Tiny Quarrels in your backpack over time.
    It makes the quarrels it shoots poisonous.
    It doesn't cost any energy to reload.

    It's basically just a handy ranged weapon for classes that don't usually use one. It's light, comes with its own ammo, and helps hit decently well. I think all Tiny Quarrels are the same, but if not it can produce just regular ones. Ideally it could also be found or generated early, and a good missile weapon of any kind can be great early in the game.

    "Iron Collar" [-4, +4] {+4 To}
    It helps you regenerate health.

    Just a necklace that would be good that isn't the Ankh. I practically never find something I would use over the Ankh.

    "Lasher's Ring" (2s)
    When equipped and used it lets you cast Far Slaying. It doesn't teach you, and it works just like a wand with unlimited charges. You use it, it asks how much PP you want to use, and a direction.

    I think it'd be fun, but I honestly don't know if I'd use it. Maybe if I really needed a ranged attack, but far slaying is risky as is. It'd still be fun though. Oh, and the name could be changed.

    "Parrying Dagger" (8s) [+15,+0] (+0, 2d4+2) (+5 Speed)

    Nothing else special about it. Just a dagger that lets you use two weapons but still be defensive.

    Make it autocursing the way Moon Sickle is, and things might become interesting

    Some artifact ideas:

    Amulet of Life Saving:
    (+2, +2) [+2, +2] {+2 Toughness}
    When the player is killed, this amulet turns to dust, and resurrects them, at full health, at the topmost level of the dungeon with all their equipment.
    So, if they died on LV 72 of the Infinite Dungeon, they would respawn somewhere on LV 1 of the Infinite Dungeon.
    Thus, this artifact not only saves their life, but also pulls them out of the dangerous situation they were in a moment ago.
    Would be useful if the player say was trying to kill the Banshee without being deaf or having beeswax, and got too close.

    Last Line of Defense (One-Hand Spear):
    (-12, 3d8-12), [+24, +24], {Petrification Resistance and Death Ray Resistance} {+12 Toughness, +12 Willpower, +12 Dexterity}
    This spear converts melee offensive power into extreme defensive ability.
    It is not meant to be an offensive weapon, but is best used for spellcasters who want some extra defense so that they can survive longer while casting spells.
    It is one-handed so that it can be wielded with a Shield, and thus heavily boosts your defensive ability.
    Alternatively, it can also be useful to those who haven't visited the Small Cave yet, and are quite high level and don't wish to die while traveling that cave.

    Lordran Rapier:
    (+8, 3d8+8) [+4, +4] {+20 Speed, +20 Dexterity}
    When using F4 (Neutral), F5, F6, or F7 (Cowardly) Tactics, it doubles the DV and PV bonuses from those Tactic options and provides a chance to disarm an enemy opponent of their weapon (highest chance at Cowardly), while also fixing attack/damage penalties at Neutral (thus you have attack/damage bonus of 0/0 at Cowardly in addition to increased dodge and protection bonuses).
    When wielding the Rapier in one hand, with the other hand free, it increases it's hit chance by +8, and it's Dodge Value +8 (stacks with other bonuses)
    When wielding the Rapier with Fencing Gloves, it further increases hit chance by +8, and it's Dodge Value +8 (stacks with other bonuses)
    This weapon would allow for powerful dueling capabilities for those that want to use Rapiers, a more finesse based weapon.

    Smiting Symbol (Holy Symbol):
    (+X, +X), [+X, +X], {+X to all Attributes}
    Gain +1 Attribute per Piety Levels above neutral (ie Spiritually Invincible, Very Close, etc)
    Gain +3 Damage, +3 Dodge, and +3 Protection per 2 Piety Levels above neutral (+1.5 per Piety Level in other words)
    Gain +2 Attack per Piety Levels above neutral
    Can "U"se the Symbol in the Tool Slot to direct your diety to Smite a foe with a bolt of energy often killing the foe. Uses up about half the piety of a prayer would. The smite would be similar to angering a diety causing them to blast you with a powerful blast.
    Basically a holy symbol that grants more power to the player, the happier their diety is with them, and allows them to get out of dangerous situations by consuming some of their piety by smiting their foes. So even if you don't have enough piety for a postcrown gift, you can still use your piety to your advantage.

    Prayer of the Righteous (Holy Symbol):
    Can only be used at maximum L+ or C- and be Very Close with their Diety
    Can be "U"sed to utilize piety equal to triple (to avoid abusing) that of a prayer to do these effects:
    1] Removes all corruption from the player and corrupting effects that they have acquired
    2] Heals all wounds, cures sick, cures poison and restores all PP
    3] Restores all drained or abused attributes (abused like when casting from HP)
    4] Satiates the player
    5] Provides Death, Petrification, Stun, Poison, and Disease Immunity for 150 turns after which is wears off.
    This will provide players with lots of piety to call on their diety to remove a whole host of negative things from you, but will likely drop you down a piety rank with each use as the piety cost to use this artifact is quite high.

    Anyone notice that several of these actually made it into the game? Amazing. I wonder if the secondary non-intrinsic stuff made it into the game too?
