    Default YAVP: Hurthling Farmer

    Well, decided to roll up a farmer for a challenge and ended up winning with it, making it my 6th win (kinda feels pointless to count now...). Although he was extremely weak at the start of the game, a bit of stairhopping in the ID until I had a couple points of PV and a few levels so that I could survive a stone block trap helped, and then it was off to the VD, where I found a Lawful Altar on VD:2 and decided to start the Herb farming on VD:1. Ended up spending my first 20 or so days of time just farming for stoma for sacrificing and raising my stats, getting myself to ~25-27 wi/dx/to and 17 st before leaving, along with Protector and Shirt of the Saints via PreCrowning/Crowning. From there, the game was relatively easy - hardest part was the ToEF and actually taking down the wyrm, as I maybe found half a dozen dragon slaying ammo by then. Using my high sling skill along with a PoCC, wands of poison/stunning, and an occasional silly melee, I managed to take him down, although I had to retreat a couple of times. From there, I dove straight down, rescuing khelly and doing everything, only returning to the surface shortly to stop at an altar after the casino. Nothing from there really posed any serious threat. Got two greater vaults, and got a total of 7 artifacts between them. To my luck, they were both giant vaults and therefore relatively easy to clear. Got a lot of nice artifacts too, but by that point in the game I was dead-set on sticking to spear+shield, so the only other artifact weapon to see any use was rolf's axe. Protector was invaluable, and was a large part of what made so much of the game easier, as the huge DV boost was amazing. Anyways, here's the flg and my notes from the game...
