Bard skills buggy in p4?

Hi folks,

I was trying out a human bard character in p4, and ended up with only 6 skills. "Screw that!" I thought, and tried again. Only the basic human skills, + alertness. And again, and again... sometimes I got 1 or 2 extra skills, sometimes none. Often the extra skills came from the beginning of the list.. archery, alertness, or athletics.

In older versions of the game, I had no trouble rolling up a bard with 5 or 6 interesting skills in addition to the racial ones. Now I just can't seem to do it. Has anyone else noticed this behavior, or am I just getting a streak of terrible luck?

I haven't done a systematic analysis, so I haven't submitted a bug--just wondering if anyone else has had this trouble.

Made 4 human bards, got these skills by count. Short answer - nothing after F. Looks like three random skills per new character. Make the bug
