I could be mistaken, but I don't think stone giants are made of stone, any more than fire giants are made of fire. They're just adapted to their respective environments - Stone Giants are adapted to living on stone outcroppings, etc, and thus are highly experienced in use of stones.

No, you're right Aielyn. Don't see it really fitting either. Also, 16 MP is a ridiculous waste for a little old stone golem. Ah well.

The stone golem adjusted to your level might be worth it. It could have hundreds of HP and a kick-ass attack.

Well, they do adjust to your level (from what I recall). Still don't think so, though, but I don't play with pets much.

Well, you do get a message when you eat a stone giant that the meat is very hard, and "you barely avoid losing a tooth".
