Default Only technically a death, but too funny not to share...

So I recently got back into ADOM(Lost my old forum account), and decided to roll up a Mist Elf Chaos Knight. Went for the Darwin opening in SMC, and 3 levels down I found a pool. Since I was basically playing to die as quickly as possible, I decided to drink from the pool. First drink: WISH. After a bit of thought, I decided to wish for an Amulet of Life Saving, because why not? I then thought to myself "I wonder if it counts as an impure metal for Mist Elf damage...". Curious, and also kind of hoping to get some use out of it should I screw up, I put it on. "Your skin is destroyed by the touch of impure metal!" Well okay, guess that won't work, so I'll take it off...

    "Cursed Amulet of Life Saving"

    ...Shit

I didn't have any means of uncursing, and couldn't do much except stand there and wait to die. And when it activated I got my toughness drained to boot.

Sorry, I'm not English speaking. What is meant by 'boot'? I googled, but can't find the answer.

'to boot' is an idiom for 'additionally'.

You hit Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, and severely wound him.
The greater balor summons some help!
The ratling duelist disarms you. You drop your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12]. It flies to the west.
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, picks up the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, wields the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].

    That's pretty epic.

The best wish for chaos knights is probably rings of regeneration, IMHO.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.
