Well, what a day for RosOrkrectio... during three episodes he visited the dwarven graveyard, darkforge and the arena and he made some brutally stupid mistakes... once again his life was literally on the edge of a knife. The positiv thing about it: He IS still alive and he is just diving down the caverns of chaos with 48k goldcoins inside his pockets. He is already active for more than 18k turns, so he will very likely not beat grobblewobble's count... he might still do some pool-drinking and hope for a wish though... what do you think: easy successful funding or rather go for it?

Your decision, but keep in mind that you get 10.000 turns bonus for saving him. So if you manage to get a wish within 8000 turns you can still win the challenge.

Well done GordonOverkill. I want to remind you that you have to save his life directly after giving the gold. Otherwise, everyone will just get the gold to him as quickly as possible and then take however long to save him. I hope this makes sense. I don't always have trust in my English.

Edit - An alternative could be to give him the gold and then go find the required method to save him, but then your moment of saving turncount(minus the 10k turns of course) is used.

After reading your post, I'm sure you do realize the above. I'm however still putting it down, maybe some miracle happens and more contestants appear.

@GordonOverkill Kudos for taking on Darkforge, my word that was risky, but rewarding and extremely entertaining to watch. I almost burned my kitchen down, oil overheating and catching fire while watching that. Smoke inhalation is shit. This challenge does take one out of his comfort zone hey. Was the idea, I suppose.

Soooo, RosOrkrectio successfully finished the challange after 19172 turns. If he still wants to beat grobblewobbles char, he will have to finish the game successfully for the 2000 bonus turns. I will try to keep up the high pace, so this hopefully won't take too long ;-)

Good news for all fans and friends of RosOrkrectio. He just managed to get an amulet of life saving, so Khelavaster is going to stay alive (though that doesn't count for the 10k bonus turns of course and even if it did, he would have been too late to beat grobblewobble). This means that he might actually try to attemp an ultra ending and somehow I'd really like to try it, but I have never done an ultra before, so this might take some more time to finish. Would it be okay for you to delay the results a little further or should I rather go for a quickly closed gate?

This is a sad day for all friends of stupid named orcish merchants... I have to inform you that RosOrkrectio just died to another incarnation of the suicidal tendencies that followed his whole adventuring chareer. Sadly, directly after entering the dwarven halls he forgot that he just entered the dwarven halls and began to explore those levels. On DH2 he was slain by a frost giant jarl.

Tried this, rolled a female high elven duelist, managed to get about 29k gold, but now she has sadly ceased to be.
For alas, in her great haste she rammed through a karmic lizard or two, and ended up doomed... managed to survive about a thousand or more turns after that, but was suddenly smacked down from full health to none during a single encounter with a ghul. Ouch >_<
