    Default Dwarven Healer p16

    This is more a failure post than a victory. The idea at character creation was to generate all the guaranteed artifacts(Rolf's Savior included).

    Well, starting literacy was 77, so I was thinking, can't be too difficult to find a few dark sage corpses along the way. Boy was I wrong.

    Went to Holeinthewall, but forgot to actually kill something after checking shop out. So, first kill was a giant rat. I kept lowish most game.

    Grinded for many thousands of turn for dark sages with no luck. Had a ring shop on UC:2, so bought all the rings about 5 times I think, then he stopped re-stocking. So I had a stack of only 13 rings and 2 !oExchange, no luck with rings.

    DF had 5 pools and UD 2, no wishes there either. Eventually decided to just let the pot of Literacy slide and try for the rest. Didn't get Rolf's Savior either, so that made me decide to kill Khelly and just get the remaining artifacts for practice's sake.

    Wanted to buy just over a $ Million in casino, but over-gambled to 5 Million and about 4 corruptions added I think. One of which was Unholy Aura, Teleportitis kicked in while I was still stunned from gambling and teleported me to about 4 tiles from the shopkeeper, well there went the platinum girdle too.

    Oh, well. Did collect all the rest anyway to see what the mino maze and quickling tree was like as I haven't been there in a long time. The maze is not that bad really. I didn't even have magic mapping.

    Now, I can enjoy pre17.

    Don't be fooled, I just drank all my stat boosting potions before leaving the chain. I won't do it in future.
