    Me neither.

I can hoover wherever I want and nothing happens.

Maybe he's talking to this WYSIWYG crap? I think one can change that in the user preferences.

EDIT: if the problem persists, maybe give us a screenshot - I really dunno what you mean / how to reproduce it.
Of course it's unfair - that's the whole point.

Ascaron, keep in mind that I am terrible at Wikis. There's all this fancy template stuff and tables-making I have no clue about. For me the simplest things can be confusing. I'm learning, and can make do with what I know for now I'm doing everything in that Wikitext mode. The sweetness of plain text knows no equal.

I don't think I'd use a "bad grammar" template. I enjoy correcting other people's writings far too much for my own good.

EDIT: Though there is one thing that's really pissing me off right now. Whenever I try to open a help page, for instance just now to check how the hell I can make redirects (to redirect from Altar to the Altars page), it opens, then suddenly I get a jerkass 404 page with "alternate search results". Apparently for some dickweed card games. What I especially despise is how I can't even prevent him from going to that page. I can hit abort at any point in time, he teases me with the probably really informative help index, then redirects to that bullshit page.

ADOM Guides - whatever you wanted to know about playing a certain class, but have been afraid to ask!

Check out my youtube channel to see my ADOM videos, including a completed playthrough of the game. I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

It seems that none of this 'I can't edit CRAP!'
nonsense started until Epythic locked the logo page.

*Not that I have the slightest idea of what I'm
talking about here, having never fiddled with a
    wiki page in my life.*
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."

Could be coincidence, or could be the fact that only JellySlayer and Soirana had TRIED editing before that And both of them had been successful...

    A few questions have arisen.

    1) How exactly do you complete the "frog quest" gained from drinking in a pool?

    2) What danger level is the Old Barbarian's clearing? I'm guessing it's DL1, but not sure.

    3) What danger level is DH2?

    4) How are danger levels in the ID calculated? Would it be correct that the deeper you go, the higher the danger level, and that sooner or later the DL there will overtake all other places in the game?

    5) Does anyone have a savegame with the Bracers of War that I could borrow?

    Thanks in advance.

IIRC, danger level in the ID is 1/3rd of the dungeon level. Can't help you on the other questions I'm afraid, but I'm sure I've seen details of the frog quest on the forums somewhere...

    1. talkng and kissing frogs, although i never done it.
    2. Why does it matter? it is non corrupting area with low DL.
    3. once again why you need exact value probably coming from code dive? It is easy to guess DL>40
    4. There is actually DL split [i would need to edit DL page actually].
For mob generation - DL=ID level
    For items DL=ID/3 rounded up.
keep in mind such thing as upper level of DL possible exists. ID3000 does not have DL of 1000, actually ID never reaches DL.
    5. I could dig it, but if it is for GI i coppy pasted current entry from ingame [just deleted fluffy lines in start and so on]. You overvalue GI meanning anyway.

Frog quest is completed by talking to non-hostile frogs, meaning druids have the easiest chance of completing it. I think it's a 50/50 chance of you either getting the rewards or getting a wart (-1 Ap).

ID is special for both item DLs and corruption. However you'd need code-dived info to explain exactly. Past 50 the DL doesn't exactly increase, but monsters have higher levels (so more HP, attacks, etc) and nasties seem more common.

    related to frog test:
    A) you might do it multiple times
    B) you just need frogs no prerequisites
    C) you need patience - few times i got option for kissing them after 9 times of just them croaking...
