Default The "benefits" of the new random placement of traps

You have found a secret door!
    Several items are lying here.
Suddenly a stone block hits your head!
The uncursed pick axe on the ground is crushed!
The uncursed climbing set on the ground is crunched!
The thieves picks on the ground are crushed!
The bone on the ground is broken!

    ....
At least I had time to detect item status before the block crushed it all.

    Edit:
I guess the correct move in the future is to kick all that stuff off the spot.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Now I always try to detect that trap somehow and if that fails - indeed just kick the stuff off that tile.

Common practice is to always kick stuff off the tile if you can't detect traps. Even with TP trap, you never wanted to trigger it w/o +TCtrl. Worse situation is stupid VDDL, imo.

Well I felt I always had to step on it anyway with the TP trap to get to the actual items, so I didn't bother kicking. But yeah I won't forget now.

Well there's two hidden doors so you never had to step on the trap if you didn't want to.
