    Default UCG Drakeling Paladin

    A+ the Drakeling was a naive adventurer who thought his acid spit attack could overcome the world. As it turned out, it pretty much did up through the Eternal Guardian. He decided early on that he would become the god of chaos so as to avenge the death of his grandfather Daoq who died entering the Chaos Gates prematurely. He immediately set about his life by collecting lawful tasks in the local village before executing a hostile mugger. He slayed Kranach and his gang and saved the puppy of a resident child. While hunting for the dog, he found a neutral altar near the > of PC4. He set about pleasing his god and was shortly rewarded with Kinslayer, which he wielded for a time, switching to and from a mace of destruction as needed. He would remain in his neutral god's favor for many months to come.

    After ending the evil reign of competing dark sages, he ventured to a hidden mountain village and murdered the oracle there, much to the indifference of the locals. From there, he headed west into a chaotic cavern and notice strange sounds coming from a room he could not find on the 3rd floor. After visiting a town of dwarves, he found that a pulsing surge came from a hidden room a few levels above from which he retrieved the arrow True Aim. This served him well all the way to the end.

    He hacked his way through ogres and dwarven skeletons, raided the pyramid and Darkforge, and claimed the ring of the ancestral king. However, he did not find what he needed most to become a god. As such, he attacked a burning tower and slayed the beast there with two shots from his bow. He even went forth into an ancient ruined city and seized a mighty axe from the dead hands of a ungodly manbeast. Then he delivered strange items to an old hag, sacrificed the Crown of Science, the Ankh, SoN, Big Punch, the Phial, and the black torc to a demented ratling, and slayed a mighty multiheaded chaos dragon during the deepest night of the 60th day. He sipped many pools, gaining and losing many useful intrinsics, but still he wanted for a holy amulet.

    Determined never to give up, he read a blessed scroll of danger After many (-many-) hours of searching in a big room, he found enough DL3 amulets to dip into potions of raw chaos on D2. After a dozen or so tries, he found an electrum amulet which proved to be his sought-after item. By this time, it was since 98 days from the time he first step foot into the chain. He made with great haste to the dying sage, who had politely waited a month for our hero to return, and saved him. Quickly thereafter, many fell beast found their end against his mighty axe. Exploiting the great amount of time needed for the eternal guardian to lumber about, he spat 22 of them to their acidic deaths and leaped to level 45. A great vault of giants left him with a sour taste in his mouth, but another smaller red dragon vault left him standing among their frozen corpses with Sun's Messenger in his hands. Upon clearing out the cave of blue dragons, he dived to the great depth of I2 to slay the bard Filk. The emperor moloch was shortly-thereafter dispatched at the taste of the minotaur axe.

    It was near this time, that our hero allowed a number of corruptions to take hold so that he might save his resistance items for the final battle. Unfortunately, after deciding to lay waste to the world around him starting with the slaying of the trusting inhabitants of Dwarftown, he bent their temple's altar to his own chaotic god's will, but forgot to equip the sweetest of gloves, those thick gauntlets. As such, he was left with 382 potions of poison. This troubled him slightly, but he took solace in his earlier preparations that ensured his wands of digging, teleportation, and paralyzation were well charged. He decided then to return once more to the surface in order to lay waste to all that was good in the world. He slaughtered the fools who entrusted him with such powerful tools in Terinyo, showed the ruffians of Lawenilothehl what it truly meant to serve one's own selfish interests, and decimated the hidden village in the mountains. Upon retrieving the weird tome from the ghostly librarian and trading it for more chaos scrolls to replace his lost potions, he ended the ramblings of the mad minstrel for good. He then heard arguments from two unicorns in a valley before choosing power over cleanliness. At the last, the barbarian who still waited for word of 20 killed muggers was the last to fall in the world under the sunlight. The dwarven artificer was snuffed out on our hero's way down to the depths for the last time.

    Upon reaching the 50th floor, A+ decided to make it clear that he came not to hide in the shadows, but to end the suffering of all who stepped to his face. Splashing balls of acid, launching missiles, and wielding his might red trident, he destroyed most of the ghosts, masses, and servants of chaos therein. The great balor died fleeing for his life in the corner near the pulsing gates of chaos. A+ took a moment to refresh his knowledge of spell lore until the last two corruptions sent his mind into near insanity. He stepped into the swirling colors where he found many of his kind welcoming and rejoicing at his coming. When he stepped out to face the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, he was well-equpped. Between his trident, the many arrows of slaying, his fine bow, and the alchemic gift of a fated potion of education, he laid waste to the dark lord and supplanted him with a dark god. The world would then know despair.
