So, in short: beastfighters are strong at offense for the whole game but no shield hurt a bit, L+ have significantly less corruptions than N, possibly appearance affected that too despite it was mostly ruined by corruptions, nerf to herbs hurt too unless you are lucky with potions of potential toughness/willpower, deep floors (it seems) became more exciting than in p20, also I'm not sure, but it seems arrows break more and it kind of sucks, also promotes grinding for them.

This character won at lvl 29 so the score sucked.

Early game was pretty standard - SMC for the blanket, got lvl 4 in DD, killed Kranach, cleared DD except the last floor (not because I couldn't, but because I wanted to bring his corpse to the druid, which I did later when got a wand of fireball and holy water), tried to clear PC but had to get back due to some hard monsters in the mixed vault on the bottom. Destroyed two anthills but didn't get a single corpse, found a lawful altar in the cavernous level of PC and got L alignment to spawn a lawful altar in the Dwarftown (since I decided to win as lawful), got tele control from a blink dog corpse, killed some beggars for booze, got tele wand, then, it was kind of funny, I went to complete the portal quest (also got bows to lvl8, shooting some hydras) and got L+, but when I was ready to get crowned (didn't want to pre-crown as a bestfighter, too high chance to get a weapon or a shield) I remembered that I didn't visit the mystic! So I lured Dwarftown citizens away and killed them there (they probably dislike dark elves for a reason -_-) till I got N+, got 4 ?oCR (yeah!) and the ring of ice, cleared the Pyramid, visited the Blurp's mom and dived to HMV. Here, being a L+ again I remembered that I wanted to eat the Oracle >< so I took another alignment hit, removed the dooming, went to ToHK and eventually was crowned after completing it with the cloak of Oman (pretty decent actually) and acid immunity (nearly useless), got my trident around that time too.

I cleared Darkforge (dunno who wrote on the wiki that beastfighters have little problem killing steel golems at lvl25.. they have little problem killing them at lvl16-18 at least when they have Find Weakness) but sipping pools gave me no wish so Khelly died. Since I lost a promising char doing Ice Queen quests recently I ignored her domen this time. Water, Fire, Air and Earth temples were easy and I turned every corpse for !oCC. Casino had 7LB and Sun Messenger which I didn't buy since 1.9 mln is a bit too much. I killed accidentally one cat, but when I zapped my wand of monster detection on the Cat Lord floor, I realized he could be avoided so, despite I went through that floor like 8 times I never seen him. Also I had a tension room of white unicorns (as a champion of Order ><) on the floor with Darkforge shortcut, but only one of them teleported outside of the room (Stealth is great, it seems), and, after chatting with him was proven useless I took some alignment hit and killed him. I partially cleared an ordinary dragon vault and went to Unreal Caves which were filled with nasty monsters, a lot of named wyrms whom I avoided etc.

The Mana Temple was terrible. The Chaos Archmage teleported right beside me clenching me between himself and an annihilator. He dodged most of my 3 slaying + 3 humanoid slaying arrows, then I threw a !oCC at him, and after he took some heavy damage, a second one, which was shattered for nothing. At this moment an annihilator destroyed a stack of 3 !oCC in the missile slot >< I blessed another !oCC and threw it too... well I didn't realize immediately that it works 1 time only. It's 6 !oCC wasted, Archmage in melee range, and I was just lvl 26 so my punches weren't even that strong, even criticals, and mostly missed anyway. On top of that he drained my strength by 4 or 5 points so I couldn't even move, drained 3 point of learning, I got mana battery corruption and the annihilator destroyed my amulet of light. I switched the water orb to the fire one and killed him punching in the dark. Surprisingly blind strikes missed less, and, since he was already critically wounded, he quickly died. He didn't hurt me much, I used only I prayer.

I removed mana battery with my last !oCC, turned archmage corpse to the druid and dived to D:50, which was easy except a surprising emperor lich. It had a mixed tension room which I didn't open. I used monsters on the levers method (summoned some nasty monsters this time before got those who fitted). I got very light corruption there which I removed with my last !oCC. Corruptions were kind to me this game, most of them were nearly harmless or even completely positive except the last two - mana battery and very light. After I won and got outside I read 4 scrolls from the mystic and cleared myself completely so I didn't even take the unicorn quest (I'm not a killer for talking horses, especially when her comrades tried to kill me -_-).
