    Default Questions regarding post-victory character

    Hello everyone.

Recently I finished the main quest (close the chaos gate) for the first time in 1.2.0 (I have several victories in 1.0 but skipped 1.1 due to the übermonster bug. Thankfully 1.2.0 doesn't seem to suffer from it).

Now I'm thinking of maximising character stats and possibly skills too. For this I need lots of stat potions and scrolls of education. Since background corruption is no longer an issue farming is not a problem. Regarding this I have some questions.

    1. Apparently writing scrolls is much harder for other classes than it is for wizards, especially education and corruption removal. But how hard would writing these scrolls be for a level 50 priest with concentration and literacy at maximum, learning at 50+ and using blessed writing set and scroll ?

    2. What would be the best place for farming stat potions and the like ? At the moment I am farming ID around level 30-32 (danger level 10 if I understand correctly) with no problem so far. At very aggressive mode the char has DV/PV and all 4 base resistances (fire immunity from crowning) around 72/45 so getting damaged is rare (mostly from enemy spells and bolts from titans). I also tried BDC briefly but there were too many summoners (emperor lich, cough) making it quite annoying. Also when I was leaving a hostile ki-rin showed up (thankfully they apparently can't see invisible and currently the char is wearing Brannalbin...)

    3. Does danger level or dungeon have any effect on what kinds of spellbooks does one find ? Thanks to treasure hunter talent the char is finding lots of spellbooks in the ID but mostly they are for spells the char does not really need (light, darkness, stun ray) while ball spells and magic missile are very rare. The char had to use one RoDS for spellbooks of acid ball before earth temple to remedy that problem and ran out of castings of magic missile at one point (and had to spend another RoDS for spellbooks of magic missile as he was running low on castings).

    1. Priests can write scrolls about as well as wizards. They still will incur large penalties for writing SoCR and other powerful scrolls though. Only monks are completely immune.

    2. Most potions are pretty low DL. ID 30ish should be fine. If there's any (greater) vaults you haven't cleared, those are great places to find equipment as well.

    3. All spellbooks are DL 1. Ball spells are super rare for divine casters (priests, druids, paladins), though. You're lucky to find two ball spellbooks in a game without visiting the library.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.
