It took a long time for this character to get healing. It went trough the Small Cave and Unremarkable Dungeon, and then the CoC and dwarftown before the village dungeon. No amulet of life saving was found after visiting the high king and darkforge, so Khelly was not saved and no ultimate ending was possible. I decided not to scum for an amulet (for example I did not use any pools). Darkforge did not have any decent armor or weapons. The character did find a ring of ice in a ring shop. The ToEF was surprisingly hard because the char did not have intrinsic fire resistance and could not get a corpse to be generated inside the ToF. Instead, regeneration items where used to offset some of the ongoing damage. To make things even worse, on the final level a large danger room full of fire demons had to be passed. This took several trips up and down to clear them out. To clear the timepl, a scroll of monster aggravation was read, and the Ancient Chaos Wyrm was lured out. One of the lucky early finds where some arrows of slaying, which disposed of some of the early game bosses including the ACW. Before the ToEF I did the water temple, dwarf quests, and got the elemental gauntlets as I usually do.
After the early game I just dove down to the mana temple. On the way down a large dragon vault was found, which gave me ironfist. The vault was right before the casino, and the fire dragons where used for gold doubling to buy everything I wanted in the casino. At this point I had more gold than I could ever use or carry and that was later used to gain piety. The mana temple was quite easy: Used wand of far slaying and a bit of patience to lure the mage out. He was quickly disposed with slaying ammo. Then I went back up to do the other temples, which where really easy at this point (again, thanks to a lot of slaying ammo).
On D:50 a friendly greater earth elemental was summoned, and he helped a lot to clear out the mobs. Preserver was uselessness gift. Balors fell to slaying ammo, and it was generally very easy (although a bit tedious, just like the dragon vault). After killing all the monsters on the level and using wands of destruction after closing the gates, the earth elemental was left to watch over the level for an eternity to come.
After closing the gate, blup's mom was found, the cute dog corpse was given to the girl, the character was crowned with acid immunity and whirlwind, and all corruption was removed by completing the unicorn quest.
