    Each one is good, i dont understand the question..
    For easy UE maybe an easy char is good, easy for me ale melee
    classes like archer, assassin, fighter, ranger

    (i personally ply almost exclusively elves of the above, so i may only
    confirm they seem good for ule ;c)

    Wizards have the best chance. Extremely hard to kill early, even stronger when you find few books. Very fast leveling. Great skills. Combine with dark elf for alertness, find weakness and lifespan.

    Wizards are the easiest I think.
    Monks are only difficult until you get ~10 PV.
    After that, with an eternium-two hander, monk is totally easy mode and you can write all the extra scrolls at the mere cost of a few points of power, not mana.
    Assassins, archers, elementalists, healers, scum-rolled bards are all pretty decent ultra material.
    Getting aols is not such a big deal with the extra random caves and FGJC/IQD
    They will either produce one directly or provide indirect means of obtaining one - RoDS, potions of exchange, plenty of stackable rings, or even a wand of wishing which I've found three times in FGJC in 10 games.

    I don't believe you, where did you find info about average 4 gulps? From my experience, it is more... Also, are all pool outcomes equiprobable?

    kuniqs like to provide shit information, it is derenged hobby or so (he is probably coming from resocialising school or smthng, you may ignore this shts, though aura of forum is a bit spoiled by it )

    No faith required, sweetheart.

    - There's 8/52 chance to dry the pool with a gulp.
    - So, 1 - (1 - 8/52)^4 = ~50%.
    - There's around 50% chance for the pool not to dry for at least 4 gulps.

    - Chance to obtain a wish from every single gulp is 1/102.
    - Chance to obtain at least 1 wish after 24 gulps (6 pools * 4 gulps average for each) is 1 - (1 - 1/102)^24 = 21% rounded down.

    Other effects are 1/52 probable, with some special cases (worst for dooming).


    Anyway... since the pool effects are 'toggles' (you get an intrinsic if you DON'T have it, you lose it otherwise) it's best to drink early in the game, after finding altar if you're paranoid. Assuming you visit 15 dungeon levels (VD/DD, PC), you have ~75% chance to find at least 1 pool.

    If im not wrong (now i dont see the pools in darkforge only floor squares but im near to 100% sure all of them were pools i got 11 pools in darkforge not mere 6

    if there is a chance of dry a pool of 2/13 ,m 2/13 is 6 drinks not four
    so 6*11 is 66 if wish chance is 1/102 this is about 50% (6.5 to be more
    precise 6.5*11 =>66+5.5=>71.5 71.5/102 is 70% - but this counts also the drying drinks, i dont know if those 1/102 counts also this drying drinks or only all other ones but probably all)

    if that 2/13 and 1/102 info is true.. if so it would mean that wish chance from single pool is like 1/16 not too big... form me more expectable than wish is intrinsinc teleport (and not intrinsic perm invisibility i dont like, that would be sick to be cursed by invisibility )

    63% chance to dry during the 6th gulp, that doesn't sound 'average' to me.

    Yeah, Tactics is a good reason to avoid drinking from pools early. I don't understand your aversion to invisibility itself - it's one of the most useful things.

    I don't know why but the only characters that I seem to have the best luck with are Rangers.
    Only ones who last the longest with the most survivability in early game.
