Hitpoints equal to the amount of Power points. For Magic Missile, that's what? Eight?

Also, there is no HP score listed above, so they could have, in theory, 1 HP. In that case, you don't even need Magic Missile to do a lot of damage, meaning you don't have to be a Necro to survive. Or you could just ignore the rebound damage entirely by using a wand; since you don't use power points this way you shouldn't receive rebound damage either, nor would our Monster Sue get any HP. Neither is a DV score listed, so attacks are pretty much guaranteed to hit. And finally, they do not automatically burn or ignore webs. Conclusion: A level 1 merchant with a wand of webbing might well be able to disable it, then kill it with a single thrown gold piece. (I presume that "deflects missiles" was supposed to include thrown items as per the doppelganger power even if not explicitly mentioned, so it must be vulnerable to gold pieces just like one.)

ADOM Guides - whatever you wanted to know about playing a certain class, but have been afraid to ask!

Check out my youtube channel to see my ADOM videos, including a completed playthrough of the game. I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

Step 1: Drink Potions of Boost Speed until you're fast enough to outspeed them, or at least have comparable speed.
Step 2: Make an Alarm trap (the ones that draw the attention of other beings to the one that triggers it).
Step 3: Have one cross it in the presence of another one.
Step 4: When one of the two dies, grab its corpse and head for the nearest stairs.
Step 5: On another level, wear an amulet of life saving and eat the corpse (then drink some PoCCs).
Step 6: Use three wishes to set up a wish engine.
Step 7: Use wish engine to accumulate necessary items to gradually boost PV, DV, and speed, as well as attack power.
Step 8: Once your PV/DV/Speed/Attack are high enough, get an Eternium Scimitar of Penetration and some appropriate missile weapons.
Step 9: Make sure you're wearing an amulet of life saving (it says putting it on will make it explode, doesn't say you can't already be wearing one).
Step 10: Return to level and cast darkness. Use darkness to prevent it from deflecting missiles or confusing on hit.
Step 11: Attack and hope for the best.

Possible alternate step 11: Use another wish to wish for an underwater creature (make sure you're not in water).

I noticed a few flaws in the description. First of all, it summons blink dogs, but suppresses the ability of any other being from teleporting, thus making it nothing more than an ordinary dog. More than that, two of them on the level means neither can teleport. Second, it has abilities of a doppelganger, being able to confuse when seen and deflecting missiles - both of which fail in darkness. It says nothing about these beings being able to see in darkness, so both should be able to be bypassed. Third, it says nothing about weakness/resistance to traps, which isn't too big an issue for it with explosion and acid traps (being immune to them), but for water, corruption (until turned into a WMoPC), stone block, pit, spear, arrow, water, and light traps are all things that it is not immune to, and the alarm trap is exploitable against it, too.

Also exploitable are doors and door traps, as no indication is given that it is able to break down doors in the Moloch manner, nor pass through doors, meaning it would have to open doors in the conventional manner. Explosive Rune doors would be useful for this purpose.

A tame Banshee is also exploitable, plausibly being able to kill swathes of these creatures with ease, as it shows no indication of being immune to the Banshee or even being hard of hearing.

I interpreted the spell rebounding bit to mean that the MKOGGGQEKCBADBMADMEBHDDRMGE would be unaffected.

    Well, it can cast Light.

"They are also able to travel through solid objects"

As for defeating it... a herring would do the trick, but unfortunately ADOM only has "piece of fish meat". :-/

You hit Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, and severely wound him.
The greater balor summons some help!
The ratling duelist disarms you. You drop your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12]. It flies to the west.
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, picks up the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, wields the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].

I would be more interested in which monsters will be axed from the game. As in, they were in ADOM, but will not be in Jade.

Monsters are only special if they are few and far between. For example, dragons in ADOM are merely xp and loot farms (with or without gold doubling). They should be terrifying and memorable encounters, powerful enough to easily obliterate all but the most powerful of adventurers.
