horrendous corpse drop rate

Been trying to get my low elven toughness up with undead corpses.

I've killed 167 wights, 138 wraiths, and 51 spectres, and this has yielded about 3 corpses. Not per monster type, overall.

I wonder if it could be because I have black torq equipped, but for a change I tried ankh and it didn't seem to make it any more bearable of a grind.

Wondering if the experience is as bad for others. Wish I had a hunting suffix weapon.
