    Default Alchemy

So I've got this orc wizard and have the best alchemy recepies I've seen, to be true I haven't seen that many.
However I'm undecided on how to use them.

Booze == pepper petal + carrot juice
youth == invis + boost speed
longevity == healing + cure poison
Gain attribute == longevitey + ultra healing

So should I push lifespan longevity or should I try and stack my gain attribue potions?
    How does longvitey stack lifespan?
Is it something like lifespan + 0.1*lifespan? If so the potions would be more and more efficient, on the other hand I assume I still need to drink quite a lot of them to be able to survive a ghost king.

Or are healing + cure poison so much more common than ultra healing that it's not an issue?

I believe it's about 12-18 years added per blessed potion. I always go for gain attribute potions after I use about 4 longevity. If ghost lords or kings are hitting you so much that you need more than that, you're screwed anyways.

By the time you start encountering those undead you should have ample means to defeat them from a safe distance or get away quickly

I was perfectly fine with not caring about the issue until I actually got hit and got to see the penalties for age, add chance to insta die as orc and you get a bit paranoid.

If you use enough potions of longevity you're not scared of getting aged in 1 shot, and the recipe for potions of youth is convenient, it's a nice way to grind your stats up a bit more past natural. Aging changes your stats directly, it's not a +/-, so if it lowers your to/st/dx you can train them back up to natural maxes with herbs or corpses or whatever and then reyouth yourself.

Have you done that before? I've often considered doing that, but always decided against doing it because I thought it would take too long with only modest gains to show for it.

Hmm. I wonder if it makes sense to wish for death, train your stats and restore age with potions of youth.

Longevity potions are a fantastic deal for this PC. Definitely worth making a bunch. I'd say that you only need a handful to be mostly safe from ghost lords, and if you do get some bad aging, you can fix it somewhat (boost speed potions aren't all that common, but you can do chaos potion lottery I guess if you're really desperate, and they're definitely more common than youth on their own, so you can probably get 2-3 extra potions of youth over the course of a normal game I expect). If there's a greater undead vault you really want to clear, maybe 10-20 longevity would be worth your while, which honestly isn't that outside of the realm of possibility especially post-Casino.

Ultra healing potions are somewhat rare, but if you've saved Khelly there's 5 guaranteed including the one in the HMV. If you want to turn all of these into PoGA, I don't think there's any harm in it; I think that healing + cure poison are indeed common enough that you should be able to make plenty of both. Just maybe be a bit more careful to keep a few extra healing potions for D:50, and favour the Water Orb or prayers for emergency healing.

If you have access to Jharod and are willing to do a lot of scumming, you can pretty much max all of your stats if you want.

lOOK AT HIS BOOZE POTIONS! HIS BOOZE, GUYS! YGGAZ IS GOING TO IDENTIFY ALL YOUR POTIONS EVENTUALLY.

EDIT:: These are the COOLEST potions I've ever seen! One time swimming gain in exchange for infinite wand recharging? That's super hot!
