    Default Sasha, mist elven necrocloser

    This is my third char and first win after the ressurection (and the second win at all after a long, long time). I decided to try out the new "white necromancy" thing, though ended up not doing so because I was unsure if it trains mana as the good old black necromancy used to.

    I rather liked the new ME race. Wanted to check out new locations but didn't really manage to, more details further down.

    Started by locating SMC > UD stairs, killing a bandit, taking puppy, carpenter and Kranach quest - generated the dog then wandered around in the wilderness, met Kranach and killed him, then saved the puppy and cleared the vault. That alone took my alignment to N-. and I learned 2 casts of Cure Light Wounds from something of wonder. That allowed me to get Healing easily from Jharod, twice I think or maybe not. Went to Dwarftown through UD after that, done all quests there except the last one because afraid of demons! (That was stupid because the mace would've been a massive upgrade over what I fought with at the moment, I think it was a 1d8 +5 longsword)

    Mystic gave me no SoCR's and I forgot there is a SoCR in ratling village so I really wanted to save Khelly. Done the Griff quest, swapped my 1d8+5 longsword for Nonnak's, cleared pyramid for ankh. Stupidly didn't take climbing training, so I spent the rest of the game lamenting the loss of the library because I was too lazy to retrace and raise it. A lucky potion of exchange brough me to 38 willpower, so I figured ball spells were going to be my offecnce for the time being (I knew all of them except Lightning ball)

    Cleared Darkforge with Acid Ball, found the Trusted One, which remained my weapon of choice for the rest of the game. Amazing stats! Killed the sceletal King by throwing improved fireballs into a wall, access to bugs denied because that was my thrid char in new install. Got the tentacled mouth (what?) somewhere along the way, never seen that before. Tried going to the new white 'o' location and ran into a stupid amount of Blue 'Y's. It took me a while to understand why my amazing fire spells don't cut through them. They were sort of eveywhere and I wasn't exactly a mana well and the messages were worrying and I think my potions started cracking (omneo meo mecum porto) so I packed up and left.     I still had no AoLS but had a ring of ice so I figured I'd go ToEFl. Killed the ACW with a few acid/ice balls and wands of lightning. Swapped the corpse for a PoCC to get rid of tentacled mouth. Then I accidentally got stacked up on karmic corpses and decided it's safe to poolsip for a wish (That was where my first character after resurrection died), got teleportitis, some stupid resistances and a wish, which I spent for an AoLS, gave that to Khelly, and went for a long happy CoC dive.

    Got the cat ring, there was the elven bow and a wish ring in the casino but i was afraid of corruptions (having read that time now actually passes when gambling, damn) and limited in means of removal. Killed Yulgash quite easily, then ACB and came across a greater undead vault. Killed the emperor lich with my balls but then I remembered the elven bow, went back to the casino and bought it. That let me clear the rest of the vault in no time, and halfway through it I found the True Aim, which apparently is now a real artifact. From then on I was basically an archer.

    In the mana temple I must've done something wrong because my cat ring disappeared. Must have involved that wild tiger and the wand of ball lightning, though strangely searchning for wild tiger in monster memory yielded nothing. Then I recalled that the gods used to give you goodies if you sacrificed 100k so i went back and got myself a nice stupid staff of the archmagi (or waa it the stupid claymore, I can't remember) and immunity to lightning. Got the Lust for Glory wow new artifact on D:49 but unfortunately nothing for the second potion of uselessness.

    Cleared the entire D:50 with mostly Sun's Messenger + True Aim spam and some Acid ball casts, running from balors, digging and teleporting everywhere untill they all died. ate the ACB and the archmage and done the white Uni quest and went back. So, a pretty generic run.

    before the textdump, I've got a question for experts here: Does white necromancy train mana in the same 5/4 way that the black one used to? I tried animating clay two times but I was unable to make any distinction between mana growing due to necromancy and mana growing due to constant casting so I can't really tell.
