    Default first steam win - dwarven monk

    First time i play a monk, it was a little awkward at first as i am a packrat and i want to keep everything i find, especially early in the game, till i can properly identify them. I can say it help a little to get rid of the obsession i have to pick up every single useless item.

    I choose a dwarf for obvious reasons, high strength and toughness as well as quite high lifetime. I can say i liked the combination. DV bonuses are insane and the movement cost amazing.

    Monks are impressive, they become very strong and fast. They provide a very interesting gameplay. I didnt use any spells he was pure melee fighter, i got grand mastery in mellee, another first.

    An early surge of power gave me whirwind which i used against anything a dwarf and a monk shouldnt touch, also found 3 djinni rings without dipping and and AoLS which i didnt use (that was after a saved kelly). Bows and crossbows were used only with slaying ammo

    Crowning gift was the ring of immunity.

    Congrats! How was the Minotaur Maze for you? Did you kill everything with rocks?

    Pretty much yes, soften up with rocks and give the final blow in melee.

    The maze on this game was actually quick in about 30 minutes i had found the emperor. Utter luck tbh, i arrive on the 6th level, read a scroll of magic mapping and it reveals a down staircase.

    At that moment i replaced the rocks on my ammuntion with sling bullets of humanoid slaying and that was it. The reward was 1 PoS, 3 PoCC, corpse and axe.

    One of the quickest maze runs i ever had.

    yep i had my fair share of quickling corpses drop, some potions too..

    but imo the most impressive thing is the lvl 18 class power combined with 7lb, a 502 movement energy is simply amazing
