If only one out of three admins is active, you should think about naming another one, _Ln_... if you win the lottery and migrate to a paradise island without Internet access, it would be a pity to lose the wiki.

Wikia has an "adopt a wiki from a dead admin" feature, apparently

Thanks _Ln_ for access, I'll try not to break everything It seems as though Wikia is rather hostile to any sort of voodoo being applied to their mobile skin, so I don't see any technical way to provide coloured fancy maps on the mobile version. You will see that accessing http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Locations shares the same mobile issue.

As a potential workaround, I've hidden the coloured maps from the mobile view, and instead displayed a preformatted version: http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Pyram...in=wikiamobile This has shortcomings, of course, as it will still wrap with the layout, and so is only really useful if you are browsing in landscape mode. Of course, it also lacks the colours, links, and labels.

In other news, I've moved the inline styles to classes, and have tweaked the colours to be based off the Tango colour scheme. See the updated page: http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Pyramid

Also added map for Big Room: http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Room
    and arena: http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Arena
and upper and lower dwarven graveyard: http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Dwarven_Graveyard

That's flattering, but I pretty much do nothing there admin-wise. The most complex thing I ever did was to get enough votes for a bot account which I've used for simple replace stuff.

    Updates:
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Locations
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Terinyo
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Lawenilothehl
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Tomb_of_the_High_Kings
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Dwarftown
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/High_Mountain_Village
    http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Mad_M...l%27s_Clearing

I'm using http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Places as a checklist, so if there are any locations not on that list, please let me know, or even better, add a blank page, and I'll get around to it (e.g. Battle bunny level is missing)

Also, if somebody could provide ASCII versions of all the latest added locations (ice queen domain, for example) and a screenshot showing the colours and annotations, I can format it for the wiki.

Slightly offtopic, but: Hi! Just found this post by chance.

I'm still alive, slightly more educated than I was so many years ago, and also really busy (don't grow up, it's a trap). If anyone ever wants to reach me, send me an email via the forum; the account forwards to my main mail account.

It makes me truly happy that the Wiki I started back then is thriving these days. Thanks to everyone who's worked on it! It's good you take care of it now, Moult.

Of course it's unfair - that's the whole point.

We will await for the post in 2026 about how you created ADOM in the first place....

Why so negative, Soirana? I don't understand what you mean. Did I say something wrong? I was just happy to see that the ADOM community, which I've always loved, is still so alive.

I've got this email right here saying:

    Code:
    Hello Epythic,

The Wikia you created is now available at <http://ancardia.wikia.com>. We hope to see you editing there soon!

We've added some information and tips on your user talk Page (<http://ancardia.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Epythic>) to help you get started. If you have any questions, just reply to this email or browse our help pages at <http://help.wikia.com>.

    Good luck with the project,
Did I forget something, am I missing anything? It's true, of course, that I never contributed much content to the Wiki, or the forum, or anything. Is that what you mean?

I'd be careful about using that particular phrase with gut lurking around out there.

I've seen that photo enough times not to be scared...

I don't understand why you see that comment being negative. And I totally agree with the email.

I couldn't find non-archived post, but still wanted quote for being truth:
    Code:
I still think the main problem is someone to take charge, to maintain it. Someone willing to put in the time not just to host it in whatever form, but to go over it for things we now know about 1.1.1, and then update all the things for 1.2.0. I don't really care about the format (as long as I have some way of having an offline copy), nor about how many people can edit it (as long as at least one person is active and interested). This discussion is nice and probably necessary, but is second fiddle to someone who will do it.
I don't give my 2 eurocents about who pushed create button, but without Ascaron that wiki would have never had a chance.
