    Unhappy A brand new shine...

Rolled a pretty decent Dwarven Paladin, went through the UD, finding an altar and getting Preserver as crowning gift (later on I got True Aim as post, which was neat).
Did Thundarr quests, cleared GY, got RotHK, and was quite excited when I found 2 RoDS one shortly after the other.
Sadly, I couldn't use them :/ (see related issue)

Feeling confident about my abilities, my lvl 21 char had 2 intrinsic immunities, DV/PV ~ 60/50 and quite some ways to tactically retreat (not to be confused with "running away screaming like a little girl"), I decided to clear the DH.

Long story short, the tension room of Master Liches I had tactically retreated from a few levels ago, decided to give my girdle of greed a brand new shine. A black one.

Turns out I had waaay more gold with me than I remembered :/

It was my first time crowning as C-, and I was quite surprised when I got 2 free corruptions. Does being chaotic have any benefit compared to N/L, crowning wise? Aside from crowning being a tad easier, that is.

Crowning chaotic, like you said, gives you MoRe pOwEr. Isn't that enough of a benefit?

After the casino, I tend to store gold in Dwarftown. Specifically in Garth's pockets. If I find a shop deep in the CoC, I just kill the shopkeeper if I really want something that I can't afford. You should be plenty strong by that point. No reason to have (literal) tons of gold at that point.

Even the mentioned C- "being tad easier" is not really true - lawful crowning is equally easy in the sacrifice department - with blink dogs and occasional random dwarf being the only creatures you can't sac - plus you don't risk getting sacced yourself if you misstep.
Though, I speak from a perspective of somebody who plays in such a way as to reach extreme (L+) alignment on its own instead of through deliberate actions. Just killing powerful chaotics is enough to shift alignment and get crowned around level ~20 when I can easily control what immunity I get as a reward.
