    I started playing again recently and eked out a win. I really don't think I enjoy the archer playstyle that much. Arrow management is quite tedious, in my opinion. I went human because I never play humans and I wanted to see how they held up. Food preservation was HUGELY valuable in the late game- I received tons of strength and willpower and toughness bonuses from corpses, undead corpses in particular seemed to drop like flies. These boosts are way more valuable now that potential cap is so hard to breach. All in all, I think humans make pretty decent archers.

    - I started like I always do by diving the Small Cave.
    - I got paralyzation resistance and paralysis resistance from pools in the UD. Always drink from pools!!!
    - I was crowned with Boots of the Divine Messenger. I feel like all my late games are the same with blessed Seven League Boots so I decided to just roll with them the whole game.
    - I wore the ankh for most of the game.
    - Red Dragon Greater Vault on 46, painstakingly cleared it- it was funny just how weak Great Fire Wyrms are against archery and a high willpower.
    - I found one RoDS very late, so I couldn't save poor Khelevaster - I used it on the girdle of giant strength
    - went to the Rift for the Weird Tome and the SoCR, it was well worth it and pretty easy!
    - I had the option to go to the Quickling Tree fairly early because of lucky RNG, but nah.
    - when I was spamming 't' on the banshee level I accidentally killed a cat I hadn't seen, after avoiding them for the whole game... how annoying!
