Default Modifying colors used in the ASCII version of ADOM ?

I am playing 3.3.1 purchased through Gog on Windows10 (up to date)
I am having difficulty seeing the Dark Blue monsters/items on Black (using ASCII version)
(gibbering mouthers, goblin chieftains, master swordsmen, bottles of water)
I have tried using the Windows command prompt features
(which relate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Console/ColorTablenn values)
but these don't appear to effect (or indeed match) the colors within ASCII ADOM
Are the colors stored somewhere else I can find them
I want to lighten the dark blue (and possibly the dark red) slightly
    All the best

    3. k select palette

Once here you have a few options.
    • Use a letter to select an entirely different palette.
    • Use a number to modify the RGB values of the currently selected palette.
