Default Luminarie, the Plutonium Drakish Wizard, transformed into an avatar of Order

I finally came around to finish this game; after so many years, first legit Ultra Ending!

She's the result of a few months of grinding; got the sweet welcome back in soooo many ways:

I can take this Dorn Beast in melee! she couldn't
Is that a stone jelly? I'll melee it, I just cleared a greater red dragon vault! dies to uber stone ooze in two hits of 150+ HP, even before the paralysis
OMG BRACERS OF WAR AND SCORCHED SPEAR IN PUPPY CAVE! dies two floors later to two traps in a row
This book sure is difficult to read! dies to explosion

    I also found out that:

Not hotkeying Alchemy and dropping items by holding A is a bad idea. Took me at least 5 tries to learn this.
Playing on a laptop keyboard is a bad idea when escaping in low health.
You don't have to be chaotic to complete the Medal quest, just to get it.
Dwarves are the new cats, but better.

Luminarie got quick teleporting powers and cruised through the early game. Got my initial corruption at lvl 16, which it was the gills corruption! This allowed me to do the Water Cave on my way to the Pyramid. Got the rune-covered trident before facing Rehetep, which made him and the Graveyard very easy. I ended up having to do a long grind for an AoLS, completing basically every dungeon except the Minotaur Maze; I gave up after that and drank from Darkforge pools, which stripped my teleport control, acid and paralysis resistance, but gave the wish shortly after.

The rest of the game was sort of a breeze. I found the Martyred Crusader armor in the FGJC; from there on, I was already lvl 2X before diving back into the cave with the Fire Orb, essentially clearing temple after temple, vault after vault. I was nice to all the cats, and got rewarded for it . Casino was sort of meh; it had Perion's, but I already had a better armor by then.

I re-emerged after clearing all the quests in the CoC, at around lvl 45 to retrieve the Trident of the Red Rooster. At this point, I noticed that I was still chaotic; with some help from you guys, I hired Hawkslayer and drowned him for a little while to get to L+ for crowning. Got the Medal and Crown (had a giant boar skull drop naturally somewhere along the way), replaced the rune-covered trident with his big brother, and then spent quite some time going around Ancardia, slaying stuff and getting more items. To be perfectly straight, I wanted to enjoy the thrill of the kill some more before finishing up :P. I think this is was made the Plutonium Man achievement happen (not really intended :P).

I dived back down to the cave and went straight to D:50; D49 yielded the Masher (totally useless for me). Cleared D:50 without any issues; the TotRR did all the work here basically. I melee'd everything, including Fistanarius and the rest of the balors. For some reason I though to pick up all the treasure, and found the Quicksilver Bracers in the loot, which was perfect due to the paralysis resistance.

After wearing the insignia correctly, I stepped into the Chaos Gate:

The final battle was easier that expected; I had two ring of djinni summoning, used to wish for speed. I also quaffed several potions of boost speed before engaging, yielding around 500 speed. With that and a pair of seven league boots, I cleared the arena with Acid Ball and ended up flanking Andor Drakon, as you can see in the video. He drains stats SO FAST; just a few hits in between as I was slowing down left me with -1X stats all around. I also had no idea you got corrupted so fast in the Chaos Plane! I burned through several scrolls of cure corruption in just a handful of turns! The Quicksilver Bracers allowed me to use an amulet of light here instead of free action, which made it so much less annoying.

I took the last wish for MOAR SPEED, and with some persistence, he finally collapsed. And Luminarie was able to ascend

Also, while looking at the FLG, I noticed I never prayed. Just requested to be crowned, so as atheistic as it gets for an Ultra :P (this was also non-intentional, of course). I also noticed the Ice Queen quests don't seem to have a quest entry? I finished the first and second quests for sure.

Next up: The Rolf Quest. I want to see the volcano and kick some supreme balor ass
